This week on the podcast I talked about why you don't HAVE to set new years resolutions if you don't want to, what you can be doing instead, and why slowing down over the winter can be beneficial for us as humans.

This week on the podcast I talked about why you are the only thing holding yourself back from going after the things you want. Fear gets in the way of the things that you want, and often presents us with all kinds of excuses. I kept hearing how brave I was to make this big move to BC and relocate my life and here's a spoiler for y'all: I'm just as scared shitless as the rest of you! I also talked about how being out here has given me a different perspective on the things I want to be doing and touched on some of the things that I might be changing regarding my focus on my career.

This week I not only talked a bit about my current favourite obsession, MUSHROOMS, but also my recent experience with microdosing psilocybin and the effects it had on my mental health and general outlook on life. 

At the top of the show I talked about our dream vacation to Florida and all the Disney parks and all the other things we did on our whirlwind of a trip so skip ahead about 20 minutes if you want to get right into today's topic.

This week I talked about why self-care isn't just taking a bubble bath, and the importance of making sure we are taking time for ourselves EVERY SINGLE DAY. I'll give you some ideas on ways that you can incorporate more self-care into your life, and how it doesn't have to take up as much time or be as hard as you think.
