• The Reality Behind Successful Women | Featuring Fion from Lunalae
    May 25 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

This week on Pole Obsession, we sit down with Lunalae founder Fion for one of the rawest and most emotional conversations we’ve ever had on the podcast.

What started as a chat about building one of the biggest brands in the pole industry turned into something so much deeper.

We talk about the reality behind success, balancing motherhood and business, the pressure of doing it all, spirituality, resilience, and what it really takes to keep showing up when life changes you forever.

This episode also touches on pregnancy, infant loss, grief, healing, and the unseen struggles so many women carry quietly behind the scenes.

It’s vulnerable, honest, heartbreaking, inspiring… and one we honestly don’t think we’ll ever forget. 🤍

  • The Cost of Pole: Injuries, Recovery & Longevity
    May 20 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

This week on Pole Obsession, we’re getting real about injuries, recovery and what happens after 20+ years in pole.

Joining us is OG poler Daisy, who opens up about undergoing a double hip replacement after decades of dance, showgirl work and years of splits. Felix Cane shares some of the wild injuries she’s experienced from elite-level pole tricks and being literally thrown off poles, while El somehow survived with comparatively minor injuries despite a lifetime of dance and gymnastics.

Between us, we’ve spent decades training, competing and performing — from ballet and gymnastics as kids to over 20 years inside the pole industry. And for once… we actually stayed on topic.

    This episode dives into:

    • the injuries nobody warns you about
    • how pole changes your body over time
    • training smarter for longevity
    • recovery, ageing and staying in the industry long-term
    • and what the next generation of polers should know now

Funny, honest, slightly horrifying at times… but genuinely one of our most interesting conversations yet.

  • Who Runs the Pole Industry? Pole Fame, Expo Invites & Industry Politics
    May 12 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

This week on Pole Obsession, we’re diving into the hierarchy within the pole industry… and asking the questions everyone thinks about but rarely says out loud.

Who actually holds the power in pole?
How do people monetise the industry?
How do dancers get invited to expos and major events?
And what really makes someone become a “big name”?

Of course, in true Pole Obsession fashion, we completely derail along the way — covering everything from parenting moments to blocking people on Instagram.

    Plus:
✨ Beauty Tip of the Week: Hair
✨ Performance Tip of the Week: Costumes

It’s chaotic, honest, funny, and surprisingly informative.

  • Cancel Culture in the Pole Industry: The Damage We Don’t See
    Mar 23 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

Cancel culture isn’t just a buzzword — it’s happening inside our own community.

In this episode, we unpack the pile-on mentality that’s quietly shaping the pole world. The divide between strippers and pole dancers. Studios tearing each other down. Online attacks over pricing, opinions, and perceived mistakes.

We’re sharing real, anonymous stories from people who’ve been targeted, silenced, and pushed out — not for doing the wrong thing, but for speaking up.

Because when outrage spreads faster than truth, it’s not about accountability anymore.

It’s about who shouts the loudest.

Featuring Frances, who opens up about an incident, this is a conversation many people won’t want to have — but one that needs to happen.

    Send us Fan Mail

This episode, we went deep into Instagram and uncovered some of the most talented pole dancers you’ve probably never heard of… yet.

We’re talking pole prodigies — artists with under 10K followers who are delivering next-level lines, strength, creativity, and performance. And the best part? They have no idea we’re about to shout them out 👀

If you’re looking for fresh inspiration, new favourites, or just want to stay ahead of the curve in the pole world — this is your episode.

We also had a surprise drop-in from Maggie, the producer behind the upcoming Australian Pole Championships documentary series, who gave us a little update (and yes, we were very excited).

    Plus, we chat:

    • Throwback tricks (including Elizabeth’s spatchcock era)
    • Creative combos and evolving trick trends
    • What actually makes a pole dancer stand out right now
    • A few unfiltered life tangents… because obviously

Go follow these dancers, hype them up, and remember — you heard it here first.

  • The Red District: From the Clubs to Building a Studio That Actually Gets It
    Mar 4 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

Trigger Warning: This episode contains discussion of drug and alcohol abuse, violence, and experiences within strip clubs that some listeners may find confronting.

In this episode of Pole Obsession, we sit down with Red, the founder of Canberra’s newest pole studio, The Red District.

Red shares her journey through the club industry and how those experiences ultimately led her to open her own studio. She speaks openly about the realities of working in clubs, from the highs to the darker moments, including stories involving alcohol, theft, and violence that can occur behind the scenes.

We also talk about the moment that pushed her to build something of her own. After running shows and feeling unsupported in a previous studio environment, Red realised that if she wanted a space where dancers from the club industry felt truly welcomed and understood, she would need to create it herself.

The Red District was born from that idea, a studio built with a deeper understanding of the industry and the people who come from it.

This episode explores the many different paths into pole. Not everyone arrives the same way, dancers, performers, athletes, and club industry workers all bring different experiences to the pole community.

A raw and honest conversation about authenticity, creating safe spaces, and building the studio she couldn’t find.

In this deeply personal episode, Felix opens up about her past relationship and how emotional, physical and financial abuse impacted both her personal life and her studio.

The conversation also touches on the role substances, prescription medication, smoking and vaping can play in people’s lives and relationships, and how these environments can affect mental health, decision-making and safety.
