After a bad experience in the confessional, we felt the need to finally speak up about some things we've been witnessing in parishes that really need to stop. When priests and laypeople stop treating liturgy and the sacraments with the seriousness they deserve, people lose faith, reverence gets watered down, and sacred things begin to feel ordinary.

That should never happen. We talk about confession, the Eucharist, changed words at Mass, extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion, lay blessings during Communion, and the need for priests to model reverence for the people they serve.
