  • Relationship Real Talk Intro Episode
    Nov 4 2023
Hello and welcome to Relationship Real Talk. My name is Brad Johnson, and I'm the founder and author behind Zero Nonsense Dating, which is a men's dating advice platform and brand associated with helping men understand how to overcome their dating struggles, their relationship woes basically how to be better, stronger men in general. This is the very first episode of Relationship Real Talk, which is going to be the podcast associated with Zero Nonsense Dating. I'm really excited to be here and this first intro episode is just going to be me, but I want to lay the groundwork for what I hope to discuss with different guests I'll have on the show and a lot of other details that you can expect to hear from us. So first off, yes, this is being started as a men's dating channel and opportunity for men to learn first and foremost, that's my intent in releasing my book Your Dating Life Solved, which is coming out on January 22, 2024. But relationships involve everybody to some extent. If we're thinking about the world at large, relationships extend beyond geographic, social, cultural, religious and financial boundaries, and so every single individual is important. I want to emphasize that at the top of the show. This is definitely a place where we're going to tackle a lot of hard subjects and a lot of difficult questions and difficult topics that people typically don't want to ask or answer. But also, it's going to be a place where people can find opportunities to discuss things that are timeless, like marriage, dating, human relationships, parenting, things like that. So what else can you expect to hear from this show? Well, in our world today, there's a lot of noise about how relationships should look, but here we're going to strip it back to how relationships actually are raw, complicated, and many times incredibly beautiful. At least twice per month, and hopefully eventually weekly or multiple times per week, we'll be having honest conversations about not just dating and intimacy, but the entire spectrum of human connection. This is going to be a legitimately, safe space for discussing the joys of companionship and the pains of heartbreak and everything in between. So whether you're navigating the choppy waters of marriage, the winding paths of parenting, or the solitary stretches of loss and grief which all of us will experience at some point in our lives, I'm going to be here to talk about it all with tons of great guests. It's going to be everyone from esteemed authors, podcast hosts and relationship coaches, all the way to just everyday people who are learning about relationships and figuring out what they want their lives to look like in the midst of relationships. From the thrill of having your first love, to the complexities of long term commitment and marriage, to the depths of despair and abuse and the healing that you can find in counseling and therapy, nothing is off limits. So I really want this to be a place where people can bring their full selves and ask the honest questions, talk about the hard things, and even, hopefully, create a sense of community here where people can voice the questions, the concerns, the ideas and the thoughts that they might not have had the opportunity to in other areas of their lives. And in other relationships in their lives. But this also isn't just a one sided conversation or a place where people are going to just listen. I want to hear from you. I want to hear your stories, your questions, your insights. Relationship Real Talk is ultimately going to be a community, and individual voices are an essential part of that. So I encourage you to reach out, comment on social media, email me your stories, your questions, your thoughts, and join myself and the guests and the rest of everyone who will be creating this community. As we explore the vast, complicated and incredible world of human relationships. A little bit more about the guests you can expect to hear. There will be psychologists, authors, counselors, legal advisors and other professionals and real people who have gone through the same battles that we're going to talk about and live through the extraordinary facets of human relationships. They're going to be here to offer guidance, support, and their professional expertise, as well as insights that you hopefully won't be hearing anywhere else. So whether you're listening for the pleasure of a new podcast, for comfort in some sort of personal battle you're facing, seeking advice on a problem that you're trying to resolve, or you're just looking for a great story, we're going to be here for you. And we're going to be building an amazing show that we hope will support everyone who listens in some way or another. So grab a seat, continue checking out the episodes which will hopefully be going live sometime in December, and let's talk about the real aspects of relationships. Welcome to Relationship Real talk. Let's get real with this talk.
