Prof. Reinhard Stelter is an accredited Coaching Psychologist, Professor Emeritus, and Visiting Professor at Copenhagen Business School. With a PhD in Psychology and a distinguished 37-year academic career at the University of Copenhagen, he stepped down as a full professor in January 2025 to focus on his work as a coaching psychologist, speaker, and workshop leader.
With over 20 years of experience in coaching practice, Reinhard is recognised for his contribution to advancing coaching psychology in both theory and application. His work centres on narrative-collaborative coaching, with a particular focus on identity, learning, and leadership—often described as part of “third generation” coaching.
He is the recipient of the Henley Business School “Coaching Book of the Year 2019” award for his book The Art of Dialogue in Coaching: Towards Transformative Exchange (a translation of the Danish book "Kunsten at dvæle i dialogen"), which brings together his depth of research and practical expertise.
