When Miss Georgianna Darcy sets out to explore the woods surrounding her home, she comes upon a peculiar object. Of course, Miss Darcy must examine this strange thing further, but in the blink of an eye, she finds herself transported from 1799 to 1995.

Uncertain as to what just happened, Miss Darcy soon realizes that she may be the only witness to a murder and that she’s landed in the middle of a film crew shooting a Jane Austen movie. • A Wolf’s Journey—Inside Fair Chase With Travis Mulhauser
    Jun 2 2026

When a wolf appears in Michigan’s lower peninsula, his long journey becomes a juxtaposition of hope and inspiration along with fear and misunderstanding. One of the first humans to see the wolf is teenager, Delos Harris. Delos’ life has also been one of fear and misunderstanding as he is shuffled in and out of foster care and serves a stint in the local juvenile detention center.

The wolf’s appearance spurs Delos into action to save the animal, and himself, by approaching the Sawbrook family with a secret Delos has kept for years. Together, the Sawbrook siblings and Delos fight against the stigmas of wolves and try to save the animal from a local poacher.

I enjoyed chatting with Mulhauser about his research, the inspiration behind the book and even an old hockey rivalry. Fair Chase is a story of suspense, bravery and fighting for your beliefs.
