  • EP 17 Leadership with Purpose with Robert Hanna
    Jun 26 2026

Robert Hanna is a recruiter specialised in legal careers who also happens to host the top legal podcast in the UK, Legally Speaking Podcast.

I have invited him on the podcast because purpose can make such a huge difference in resilience but also outlook in leadership and I thought this would be incredibly valuable for my listeners. I was not disappointed.

Before I met Robert, I honestly never thought I would find a recruiter, especially in the legal field, fun, relatable and trustworthy. I know it's an awful thing to say but I have been on the candidate's side of things, rather than the recruiter, as a lawyer, and that was the reality.

The way Robert approached his business is first and foremost in the context of a legacy he would like to leave. It's not just any legacy though and this is where Robert brings a truly unique energy to this. He was inspired by his grandfather who was a lawyer and who received countless letters from clients thanking him for the help he offered them. I can relate to this because although I never saw the letters, I know that my father, who was an eye surgeon, was dearly loved by his clients. There is something truly magical when you can restore someone's eye sight - though I realise it is not always possible.

From there, Robert took a huge risk. He followed a nudge he had to start a podcast where he would interview lawyers, preferably at the start, lawyers who worked for clients he wanted to represent and produce an episode that would make that law firm more attractive for people to come and work for. This was true entrepreneurship in action as he was the new comer in a market where every recruiting firm had a foot in the door.

Robert is also a champion of technology, especially AI, in law. His podcast is sponsored by Clio, the world's leading provider of cloud-based legal technology.

Robert is the founder of a special event called the GBLO in the North of England, which stands for the Great Big Legal Offsite. It has been running for three years and will be held on the 3rd of July in 2026 with the theme of the laws of the jungle. Robert's events are unconventional and full of fun. His event is for This is a high-energy, immersive day for legal leaders, founders, and innovators who don't just want to survive – they want to thrive and dominate their domain.

  • Ep 16 Journaling for success
    Jun 19 2026

Journalling has been identified as one of the four top practices to help leaders be more strategic. Writing your thoughts, beliefs and emotions enables us to explore the depth of our human experience. It helps you understand what drives your reactions. Checking on one's intention and scrutinising them to enable us to act for the highest good. All these are particularly important when we are in leadership roles. These roles require us to be a better kind of human, lest we become a tyrant whose power corrupts.

Simple questions like "What did I learn about myself today?" or "How did I reach to challenges?"

In this episode, I explore the seven main ways to journal.

    1. Journaling for goal setting and planning
    2. Reflecting on what went well and what didn't
    3. Tracking progress
    4. Mindset work
    5. Mind dumping
    6. Recording progress
    7. Gratitude

One of the things I have been advocating in my business is to have separate journals for different things, particular for the negative mind dumping - I personally call that journal the "poison journal". It has a black cover and I dispose of it after I complete the journal.

Writing things by hand enables us to retain and understand information better. It also enables us to put a distance between us and our thoughts which then enhances our ability to be critical of them. We are not our thoughts. Our thoughts do not define us. We can choose to activate certain thoughts because they serve our bigger purpose and let go of thoughts that don't.

  • EP 15 Intuitive (Business) Planning
    Jun 12 2026

The traditional business plan as is taught in Business Schools is not relevant to small entrepreneurs and solopreneurs because for the most part it is designed for investors and is an overkill. This leaves a gap where entrepreneurs can fall where they have no plan and just either follow the money or allow clients to guide where their businesses go.

It also means that these entrepreneurs are constantly putting out fires and focusing on urgent tasks that are maybe short term and the important but not urgent tasks always fall at the bottom of the to-do list. I have had to become incredibly focused in my business due to the fact that I started home schooling my kids in 2015 and only had one day per week to work in my business. But at the start, I resisted planning mostly due to the fact that the creative in me had found my fifteen year career as a mergers and acquisitions lawyer too restrictive and I wanted to be free.

It took me four years to reach my income goal but sadly in 2019, I had a car accident and in order to get my business back on track, I had to be even more focused than before. It took me a year and not only did I regain the regular income prior to the car accident but I multiplied it by 2.5.

Where does the intuitive piece come in? It comes in checking in your body how the plan feels so that you are aligned with it. Most plans drawn purely with your mind will feel off in your body. And sadly, if they do, you will probably never try to implement them.

To come and learn about the 90-day planning system and how to use your intuition whilst planning, sign up for my upcoming webinar on the 25th of June by signing up for my newsletter with this link.

  • EP 14 CEO Decisions
    Jun 5 2026

Most of us can get by in life without facing what I call CEO decisions. At one point, though, some of us will. What is a CEO decision? It's a decision that affects not just us but others that are either in our care or that we love.

These decisions feel much more important. They have such consequences that I believe we need a better decision making process that helps us get it right. In this episode, I share the four processes that can be used.

    1. See a psychic about it. I recommend listening to EP 35 first where I give you guidance on how to get the best psychic reading. This is not for everyone. Personally, I love this process especially if I have a trusted psychic I can get a reading from. Ultimately, it needs to be our decision.
    2. Ask friends and family for advice. I caution against this in the episode.
    3. Make a list of pros and cons.
    4. Use the seven step process that I have honed over the decades of working with clients.

We will be discussing this process in my upcoming webinar on tarot for decision-making on the 24th of June. To sign up, join my newsletter. This seven step process is also described in my decision journal available on Amazon.

  • EP 13 The Perfectionist Leader with Emma Turton
    May 29 2026

Emma's leadership journey started in her teens where she was put in positions to lead in various activities she took part such as brownies and later student representative. Then she went to work as a lecturer and had to rewrite the curriculum in the Health Science Department. This was the first time she experienced burnout. She felt she was under constant scrutiny by her peers but also her students and this drove her perfectionism to new heights. Her burnout manifested as anxiety, insomnia and self doubt.

As a lot of people do, instead of taking stock and redefining her life, she pushed through, hoping that after each deadline, the hard work would stop. It never did. The thing that helped her the most to recover from that first bout of burnout was listening to her body.

Leadership forced Emma to look at her shadow aspects, in particular her demons. Her upper limit also came up a lot as well as her core wound, which is not enoughness. Moving has been her medicine, especially outdoors.

  • EP 12 Not Enough Time
    May 22 2026

As entrepreneurs and leaders, we are often pressed for time. In this episode, I share with you three things you can do to create more time for yourself. My invitation is to be very intentional with the extra time you create so that it is used for your growth and wellbeing rather than just adding more things to do.

Before we dive into these three things, it is incredibly important that we challenge the version of success that we are pursuing. Too many of us, especially in our younger years, tend to live other people's versions of success. Interestingly, these versions of success often link to having more money or having more time, as if you had to choose between the two. The good news is that there is an energetic portal open now that allows you to have both. No need to choose anymore. In order to do this, though you need to abandon your attachment to the "working hard" mentality because subconsciously it will sabotage your entering that new paradigm.

Here are the three processes that will help you have all the time you need:

    1. Retrain your mind when you experience a money or time pinch
    2. Learn to harvest time
    3. Curate an ideal day

In the episode, I mention journaling for success. Sadly when I searched for it, I realised it was published on another podcast that is no longer available so you will have to wait for it to be republished. One more reason to continue to listen to this podcast. It will be released after the interview for this month (Mary 2026).

The last way to speed up time is to work in the akashic records. If you don't know what the akashic records are, click here to listen to EP 57 If you would like to learn how to do that, the best way is to work one to one in my VIP container. Book a discovery call to find out more about it.

  • EP 11 Mindful listening for leaders
    May 15 2026

The traditional image of leadership is of a person who speaks up, makes decisions and doesn't seek approval. All these traits are important but in my view the most important of all is listening. Better than that even, it's active listening. So in this episode we explore what it looks like, tips on how to be a better listener and the benefits of active listening.

I also explore how active listening can be more challenging, though not impossible, for neurodivergent individuals.

Active listening requires of us to engage in self enquiry so that we know what our biases are in order to prevent them from polluting our interactions with other people and in order for us to recognise when they are being activated.

We can also use spiritual tools such as tarot to find out what is being unsaid. I am offering a free webinar on the 27th of May 2026 where I will show you how to use a deck of tarot to enhance your understanding of a situation. To receive the booking link, subscribe to my newsletter. In addition to the link you will also receive a coupon to book your first session at a discount. Here is the link to subscribe.

  • EP 10 Growing into Leadership
    May 8 2026

Today we are exploring an internal shift that is essential for all leaders and that is the shift from blame to taking ownership of how we react to situations. This doesn't mean that we repress our feelings around a certain situation or event. What it does mean, however, is that we shift from asking "Why is this happening to me?" to "What can I learn from this?"

It is important to acknowledge our feelings in this process and not to rush into seeing the gold in the situation. Feelings, if not truly felt, stay trapped in the body and can actually lead to illnesses. The link between the mind and the body is powerful.

If you need help to see a situation in a different light, I would love to help you. When we look into the bigger picture we are shown information that not only helps us deal with the situation but sometimes even transform our perspective in such a radical way that we now see an opportunity rather than a challenge.
