Originally recorded in May 2022, I had the opportunity to interview Richard Rodwell, a music producer and television composer based out of Toronto, Ontario, who's worked on many classic shows for YTV; including It's Alive, Uh-Oh!, Warp, and many others. In this interview, we discuss his role in Canada's early urban music scene with Beat Factory, discovering and producing for Maestro Fresh Wes and Dream Warriors, and how Uh-Oh!'s theme song got the show greenlit at YTV.
