Seeing the world through the eyes of another

I am on an ongoing quest towards living a life of ultimate peace with myself on the inside and the outside. Knowing myself and my heart is one of the core aspects of peace for me. I feel that all the answers lie within us. All we need to do is to find that clarity and then be able to live from that.

This podcast is an attempt to connect to the stories of others and hear them through their own words and perspective. Everyone has a story and each story is unique. It is my observation that we are conditioned to hide our story and our truth. The truth of our feeling, our pain, our desires and also our joys. As pain realigned me towards myself I started to question that very conditioning and I realized, real strength lay in opening our hearts and in vulnerability. As I started this journey to know and share other peoples stories, it gave me courage to finally begin to share mine.

I also seek to connect to others about what their quest in life is. What their experiences have been on their journey. And how their experiences in life led them towards what they want the most.

This podcast in essence is my journey of finding real strength and realizing that the only thing that matters and that has ever mattered is love and connection to each other. I feel that the more stories I become a medium to share, the more hearts, I and all the listeners will connect to.

I began a general theme by starting to share my own story. My story of loss, grief, pain, resilience, healing and love.

I invited guests who opened their hearts and shared their story of love and pain.

We talk about fertility, adoption, heartbreak, grief, trauma, joy, happiness, science, philosophy and so much more.

After stories from all areas of life, Talks with Summer will now bring to you many different themes. These series are ongoing.

Talks with Summer - Beyond the Five Senses came out on August 13th, 2025, and has a metaphysical theme. In Episode 1, I talk about how this theme is relevant in my own life, sharing incidents and examples, and giving a glimpse into what’s to come in this series.

This theme will feature guests who have been experts in their respective fields for many years, ranging from astrology and tarot to the dream realms and mediumship.

Talks with Summer - Stories of Love & Loss delves into the profound depths of human feeling through. Join me, as I explore the heart of what it means to love and to grieve, sharing my personal reflections and inviting others to open up about their own journeys. This series promises to be a heartfelt exploration of the dualities of life, where love and pain coexist, and where every story is an example of the resilience and the love within the human spirit.

Join me on my journey with this podcast to become a part of each others lives and stories.

  • Shamanic Wisdom and Ancestral Healing
    Jun 10 2026

In Episode 12 of Beyond the Five Senses, I sit down with John Lockley, a traditional Xhosa and Swazi Sangoma (African shaman), author, teacher, and spiritual guide. After completing a decade-long apprenticeship in South Africa, John dedicated his life to sharing indigenous wisdom, dreamwork, ancestral healing, and what he calls "The Way of the Leopard," a path of intuition, instinct, and deep connection to nature. John shares his extraordinary journey from a young boy growing up in South Africa to answering the ancestral call to become a traditional healer. We explore the power of dreams, the role of ancestors in healing, the importance of deep listening, and how reconnecting with nature can help us access wisdom that modern life often drowns out. John also discusses Leopard Medicine, cultural identity, empathy, and the universal human need for connection and belonging. If you're curious about shamanism, fascinated by dreams, or seeking a deeper connection to yourself and the world around you, this conversation offers powerful insights and timeless wisdom. John's book, Leopard Warrior, explores his remarkable journey into African teachings of ancestry, instinct, dreams, and healing.
