Welcome to the Black and Wyatt Records podcast! This week, host Mike McCarthy talks with guitar maestro, Mario Monterosso, about growing up in Sicily with a musical family and being influenced at an early age by European rockabilly bands. Eventually, Memphis found Mario, then Mario found Memphis playing in bands with Tav Falco and others. Mario also covered the Heathens’ “Steady Girl” that Black and Wyatt Records released as a single in 2019. We're happy that on the eve of his departure to Nashville, TN, Mario found the time to sit down and talk with us about his past and future.
