The Mysterons launch a series of crippling attacks on the Frost Line Outer Space Defence System in Canada.

The Mysterons send a space ship to Earth and Colonel White sends the Angel fleet to intercept. However their weapons are useless against it. The ship lands in the Northern Territory of Australia and Captains Scarlet, Blue, Ochre and Grey are despatched to investigate only to end up getting teleported into the Mysteron ship. Soon the group end up as victims in a round of Mysteron mind games, unsure of whether or not they will be able to escape.

Kate Kestrel wins the world song contest and goes on to compete in the interstellar song contest. Zelda contends that as a resident of Earth's solar system she has a right to participate too, and challenges Kate to a sing-off on a neutral planetoid with her family and Sram as her band.

Detective Don Ross uncovers lorry hijackers at a transport café behind vehicle thefts. Dismissed by superiors, he goes undercover to gather evidence against the gang.

Matic's old friend, Dr Rootes, attempts to conquer Earth using an invasive species of alien plant life – which promptly runs amok.

When Brogan and Haldane are accused of the cold blooded murder of Naxus Simi and subjected to an Internal Affairs investigation, the officers' reliability as prosecution witnesses in a case against crime boss Vanus Olverais is called into question. But Brogan and Haldane find there is far more at stake when Jane gives damning evidence against them.
