  • 53. The Woman in Room 2805
    Apr 6 2026
One June evening in Oslo, a gunshot suddenly rings out from a room in a luxury hotel. Armed police struggle to breach the door, but when they do, they find it double-locked from the inside. On the bed lies a young woman, dead from a single bullet to the head. The death has the initial appearance of a tragic suicide, until investigators look closer. The mysterious woman has no ID, the labels have been cut from all her clothes, and the serial number on her gun has been dissolved by acid. So who was she and, more importantly, who pulled the trigger?

  • 52. The Scottish Nostradamus
    Jan 19 2026

In the mist-shrouded Highlands of 17th-century Scotland, a farm labourer peers through a hole in a small, white stone. Through this pebble, he claims to see the future. He sees ships sailing across dry land. He sees a day when the people of the Highlands will be outnumbered by sheep. He even foresees a black rain that will bring unimaginable wealth to the city of Aberdeen, three hundred years in the future. Was Coinneach Odhar, the Brahan Seer, truly the "Scottish Nostradamus," or was his legend a masterpiece of historical ventriloquism? Plus, one year has passed since Barry made his own predictions for 2025, back in episode 13. We listen back to find out how accurate was our own "Scottish Nostradmaus"?
