It was the summer of '94 in a town called Mulvane, Kansas, and the only place open past midnight was the Hand-Wash Only Laundromat on Amity Street. I was there because my apartment's water had been shut off — again — and I needed to wash the sheets. That's where I met the weeping woman. She didn't look like much at first: a thin woman in a gray coat, bent over a machine that wasn't running, her shoulders shaking. I asked if she needed a quarter. She turned around. Her face was wet — not from tears. The water was coming from her eyes, but it wasn't tears. It was something else. Something that smelled like rust and old pennies. She told me she'd been washing the same load for seventeen years. She said she'd never get them clean. And then she showed me what was in the machine. I've never told anyone what I saw that night — not until now. But I still have the dream. And in the dream, she's still standing there, and the machine is still spinning, and the water is still running red. #SideB #FexingoHorror #HorrorPodcast #LaundromatHorror #Kansas #MulvaneKansas #WeepingWoman #MidnightHorror #SoloNarration #VintageRecord #LunaHorror #AtmosphericHorror #SmallTownHorror #1994 #SlowBurnHorror #Unsettling #ShortStory #NoClickbait Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
