On May 23, 1993, 14-year-old Danielle Pitcher left the family home with her mother, Dorothy, to walk to the local convenience store in Sunizona, Arizona, to buy some cigarettes for her father. On their way, they stopped at Danielle's sister's house and continued their walk. Although witnesses spotted them walking along their route that day, Danielle and Dorothy never made it home and have never been seen again.
