(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus India further restricts funding of foreign non-governmental organizations India’s Christian community complains that federal amendments to the law on foreign funding give the government excessive power over organizations tied to minority religions like Christianity, reports International Christian Concern. They termed the amendments as “draconian” and “constitutionally suspect.” The Foreign Contribution Regulation Act is the channel through which all non-governmental organizations involved in charitable works receive foreign funding in the country. A key and contentious feature of the 2026 amendment is the creation of a “Designated Authority,” notified by the federal government, which will take provisional control of foreign contributions and assets in cases of cancellation, surrender, or cessation of registration. This control extends even to assets that are only partly funded through foreign contributions. The authority is empowered to supervise, manage, and maintain these assets. Unbelievably, the Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has, during the past decade, revoked or suspended the FCRA registrations of more than 20,000 organizations. Fidel Castro’s daughter: It’s time for Cuban regime change Alina Fernández Revuelta, daughter of former Cuban leader Fidel Castro, has strongly criticized the communist regime her father launched in 1959, stating that Cuba is overdue for a new government, reports The Epoch Times. She fled Havana in 1993 at the age of 37 and settled in Miami, living a modest life much like that of other Cuban exiles. Born in 1956, Revuelta grew up in post‑revolution Havana, as part of the privileged revolutionary elite. Yet from a young age, she became aware of the realities of communism and later emerged as one of the most outspoken critics of her father’s rule, which she described as oppressive. In an exclusive interview with The Epoch Times, she said, “For me, it’s been time for a regime change since the late ‘80s. At the time Fidel Castro died, we were all thinking [his regime] had come to an end, because it was a very personalized and paternalist ... narcissistic government. ... But it survived.” Revuelta is the daughter of Fidel Castro and Havana socialite Natalia Revuelta, who had an affair in the mid-1950s while both were married to other people. She grew up with her mother and stepfather, and did not learn that Castro was her biological father until age 10. U.S. fighter jet shot down over Iran On April 3rd, a U.S. F-15 fighter jet was reportedly shot down over southern Iran, with Iranian state media claiming the regime downed the aircraft, reports One America News. The incident prompted search and rescue missions for the aircraft’s two-person crew. Tehran’s state media shared images of debris from the crash on Friday. According to Israeli officials, the United States dispatched search teams to the crash area, and so far, the teams have succeeded in rescuing one crew member, with the search for the second ongoing, reports The Epoch Times. The semi-official Tasnim News Agency, citing an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps statement, said U.S. forces were seen conducting a search operation in the area using Black Hawk helicopters and a C-130 Hercules aircraft. The incident comes amid mounting tensions as Trump’s ultimatum for Iran to agree to a peace deal approaches an April 6 deadline, with talks showing little sign of progress. Tennessee legislature passes bill to stop mail-order Abortion Kill Pill The Tennessee General Assembly has passed legislation that would hold out-of-state distributors of Abortion Kill Pills accountable when the drugs are mailed into the state and result in the death of a preborn child, reports LifeNews.com. The goal of the bill is to stop mail-order Abortion Kill Pills that are killing thousands of babies and undermining the pro-life law Tennessee approved to protect unborn children from abortions. House Bill 5 creates a civil cause of action allowing certain family members, including the baby’s mother, to file a wrongful death lawsuit against those who send abortion-inducing drugs into Tennessee. It provides for statutory damages of at least $1 million, if the plaintiff proves by a preponderance of the evidence, that the drugs caused the death of her preborn child. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Pakistani Christian legislator’s bill would end forced conversions to Islam On March 31st, a Pakistani Christian lawmaker introduced a bill to criminalize forced religious conversions to Islam with penalties of up to five years in prison, reports Morning Star News. Falbous Christopher submitted the Punjab Protection of the Rights of Religious Minorities Bill 2026 in a renewed attempt to address a long-standing human rights challenge affecting Pakistan’s religious minorities, particularly Christian and Hindu women and underage girls. No doubt his bill was inspired by stories like Maira Shahbaz, a 14-year-old Christian girl, who was abducted and forced to convert to Islam and marry a Muslim man in April 2020. Micah 6:8 urges us “to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.” Abduction of girls, forced conversion to Islam, and forced marriages are out of keeping with all three. Trump: We’ll be free from Iranian wickedness and nuclear blackmail On Wednesday night, President Donald Trump addressed the nation with an update on “Operation Epic Fury,” the United States war with Iran. TRUMP: “We are on track to complete all of America's military objectives shortly. We're going to hit them extremely hard over the next two to three weeks. We're going to bring them back to the stone ages, where they belong. In the meantime, discussions are ongoing. “Regime change was not our goal. We never said regime change. But regime change has occurred because of all of their original leaders' deaths. They're all dead. The new group is less radical and much more reasonable. “Yet, if during this period of time, no deal is made, we have our eyes on key targets. If there is no deal, we are going to hit each and every one of their electric-generating plants very hard and probably simultaneously. We have not hit their oil, even though that's the easiest target of all, because it would not give them even a small chance of survival or rebuilding. “They have no anti-aircraft equipment. Their radar is 100% annihilated. We are unstoppable as a military force. The nuclear sites that we obliterated with the B2 Bombers have been hit so hard that it would take months to get near the nuclear dust. “We have all the cards. They have none. They were the bully of the Middle East, but they're the bully no longer. Tonight, every American can look forward to a day when we are finally free from the wickedness of Iranian aggression and the specter of nuclear blackmail.” War Secretary Hegseth quoted from imprecatory Psalms On March 25th, War Secretary Pete Hegseth quoted from the imprecatory Psalms and invoked divine wrath against the enemies of the United States during introductory remarks he made at the first monthly prayer service at the Pentagon since the outbreak of the war in Iran, reported The Christian Post. Hegseth read from a military chaplain's prayer used ahead of the January 3rd, 2026 operation to capture Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro which he implied was equally relevant in the battle against the leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran. HEGSETH: "Almighty God, who trains our hands for war and our fingers for battle, You who stirred the nations from the north against Babylon of old, making her land a desolation where none dwell: behold now the wicked, who rise against Your justice and the peace of the righteous. "Snap the rod of the oppressor, frustrate the wicked plans of the ungodly. By the blast of Your anger, let the evil perish. Rescue me from the wicked.” Constitution expert predicts Supreme Court will affirm birthright citizenship Appearing on The Human Events podcast, Mike Davis, the founder of the Article III Project, predicted that the U.S. Supreme Court appears likely to affirm “birthright citizenship” for illegal aliens. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Nepalese Hindus dragged 3 Christians to police station for evangelism Three Christians in Nepal, the country north of India, are facing persecution for simply sharing the Gospel last week. A group of Hindus dragged the Christians to a police station in response to their evangelism. It is illegal to convert someone to another religion in the country. And Hindus increasingly target Christians who share their faith. One local believer told International Christian Concern, “In spite of the absence of any substantiated evidence, the police ordered an investigation. These actions make life difficult for these poor Christians.” Presidential elections in Peru, Colombia, and Brazil Millions of Latin Americans will vote in presidential elections this year in countries like Peru, Colombia, and Brazil. A survey from Pew Research found most adults in these countries see a role for religion in key aspects of public life. Protestants are a growing minority in Latin America. They express the strongest support for Christianity's influence on their country’s leadership. Even a sizable minority of the religiously unaffiliated in the region said the Bible should influence their country’s laws. Wisdom says in Proverbs 8:15, “By me, kings reign, and rulers decree justice.” Supreme Court: Christian therapists allowed to help “homosexual” kids On Tuesday, the United States Supreme Court struck down Colorado’s ban on so-called “conversion therapy” The court ruled 8-1 that the ban violated the First Amendment rights of Christian therapist Kaley Chiles. Colorado passed the Minor Conversion Therapy Law in 2019. The measure prohibited therapists from using faith-based counseling to help kids who no longer want to identify with sexually perverted lifestyles. Listen to comments from Kaley in an interview with Fox News. CHILES: “I am elated by the ruling, and I am very excited for the kids and their families, who have been simply seeking options in counseling, and now will get to do so. “I also hope this ruling emboldens counselors because we will either do justice to our clients or we will let the government silence us into pretending that there is medical consensus on this issue.” Kansas prohibits cities from forcing pro-life centers to promote abortion The state of Kansas enacted a law to protect pro-life pregnancy centers last Friday. The Pregnancy Center Autonomy and Rights of Expression Act forbids state and local governments from forcing pregnancy centers to promote or participate in abortions. While Democrat Governor Laura Kelly initially vetoed the measure, the state’s legislature thankfully voted to override the veto -- within hours. To their credit, the Republican-controlled House voted 87-35 and the Republican-controlled Senate voted 30-9 to override the pro-abortion governor. More Americans struggling economically A new survey from Gallup found that 49% of U.S. workers report they are struggling in their lives compared to 46% who report they are thriving. Between 2009 and 2019, nearly 60% of Americans said they were thriving. Most U.S. workers say it is a bad time to find a quality job. This was especially true for workers with a college degree or above. A majority of workers also said they were actively looking for a new job. This was especially true of younger generations. Barna: 40% of Protestant pastors see higher engagement from Gen Z A new survey from the Barna Group found that younger generations are becoming more engaged with their church. The study asked over 500 Protestant senior pastors about church engagement over the last year. Over 40 percent of pastors reported higher engagement from Generation Z who are 14 to 29, and Millennials, who are 30 to 45. A similar number reported higher engagement from young men. The study noted, “The story of the next generation and the church is still unfolding. But according to pastors across the country, signs of new engagement are beginning to appear.” Samuel Morse, Christian inventor of Morse Code, died on this date And finally, today is the anniversary of the death of Samuel Morse. Does that last name ring a bell? The American inventor died on April 2, 1872. Before becoming an inventor, Morse was known as a painter, even gaining admittance to the British Royal Academy of Arts. Later in life, he would make key contributions to the design and deployment of the telegraph system. He also co-developed the code that bears his name. Morse code would become the primary language for telegraphy and is still used to this day. Notably, Morse was a devout Christian who gave glory to God for his inventions.
