• In Him we Live: The Easter Special
    Apr 6 2026

When we were younger, holidays felt simple. Time off school, moments with family, small joys that didn’t need much explanation.

As we grow older, those same holidays begin to mean something different. Rest, a break from routine, a chance to slow down. And somewhere in that change, it becomes easy to enjoy the moment without ever questioning the meaning behind it.

But what are we actually celebrating?

On today’s Easter special on The Zoe Life Podcast, In Him we Live, we pause and reflect on Easter above the appearances. Beyond the long weekend, the rest, and everything the season has come to represent culturally. We go back to the centre of it all, the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, and what that truly means for us as humans.

Because it is one thing to know of Jesus, and another to truly know Him. One thing to acknowledge the story, and another to understand the weight of what was done.

From the conversation with Nicodemus to the prophecy in Isaiah, and the sacrifice that ties it all together, this episode explores the depth behind the season we so easily celebrate.

And remembering the One in whom we live, move, and have our being.

  • The Bible Mirror Series I: The Heart Man
    Mar 27 2026

There is a way we often approach the Bible that feels safe.

We focus on the highlights, the victories, the neat endings that leave us encouraged but not necessarily challenged. We talk about Daniel in the lions’ den, but not always the weight of the life he lived before and after. We speak about kings and prophets, but soften the parts that feel uncomfortable to sit with.

But what if we’ve been reading it with a filter on?

In this episode of The Zoe Life Podcast, we begin The Bible Mirror Series by turning our attention to the heart of man, starting with David. Not just the version that is easy to celebrate, but the full picture. The process, the contradictions, the humanity.

Because to truly understand a person’s journey, you have to go back to the beginning and follow it through honestly.

This series is an invitation to pause before we even open the text and take a real look at ourselves. To set aside the need for everything to feel comfortable, and to confront the parts of Scripture that challenge how we see the people God uses, and how we see ourselves.

Because Scripture does not hide the flaws of the people God uses.

It reveals them, and shows us that God works through real, imperfect hearts.

  • In / Without Control?
    Mar 13 2026

Control is something we naturally hold onto. We like to believe our lives are ours to direct, that we should be the ones deciding the pace, the path, and even the lessons we learn along the way.

Even when someone warns us about the consequences of a choice, there is often something in us that still wants to find out for ourselves.

But that instinct didn’t start with us.

In this episode of The Zoe Life Podcast, we go back to the beginning, right to the garden in Genesis, where humanity was first given both freedom and instruction. Adam and Eve were created with the ability to choose, yet the moment the serpent introduced a twisted version of truth, the desire to take control became stronger than the trust they had in God’s guidance.

It’s a story that still echoes in our lives today.

From childhood moments where we resist discipline, to the ways we try to direct our own paths as adults, the tension between our will and God’s wisdom is something every person experiences.

Today’s conversation draws on that struggle between living by the pull of our own nature and learning to trust the One who created us in the first place. Because sometimes the life we try so hard to control is actually the very thing God is trying to transform

  • Community = Friends. Enemies. & The Ones Between
    Mar 7 2026

Community is rarely as simple as we imagine.

Within any group of people there are those who feel like friends almost instantly, those relationships that grow slowly with time, and those that feel complicated from the very beginning. The ones we understand easily, the ones we learn to understand, and sometimes even the ones we struggle with altogether.

And yet somehow, we still find ourselves gathered together.

Maybe that’s because community was never meant to be built on everyone being the same. The body of God has always been far more varied than that, made up of different people, different journeys, and different ways of coming to faith.

On today’s episode of the Zoe Life Podcast, we reflect on community through the lens of Friends, Enemies, and the Ones Between, and what it means to belong to something that was never designed around uniformity, but around something much more profound.

I hope this episode gives you something to sit with.

  • Light in the Darkness II: The True Light ✨
    Feb 28 2026

Sometimes you notice it without even trying. Certain people seem to draw your attention without effort, not because they are louder or trying harder, but because there is just something about them you cannot quite ignore.

It makes you wonder what it is that makes one life feel almost luminous while another fades into the background, and whether what we call light is more than personality or presence.

What if that pull is only a shadow of something greater?

What if the life we see is simply a reflection of a deeper source?

What if the reason we are drawn at all is because, somewhere deep down, we are responding to the one Life that started it all.

And when you sit with that long enough, you begin to see the pattern everywhere, in creation, in us, in the quiet way everything seems to reach back toward a single source, like colours spilling from one beam of light, each carrying a hint of the true Light.

On today’s episode of the Zoe Life Podcast, we continue the Light in the Darkness series, talking about the True Light from the beginning, Jesus. Through Gospel of John we trace the story into the Word, into life, and into Jesus, the true Light who shines over all creation. Together we reflect on who He is and how we are meant to find our source and sustenance in Him.

This conversation stayed with me long after recording and has easily become one of my favorite episodes.

I hope it blesses you as much as it blessed me.

  • Light in the Darkness
    Feb 20 2026

When I was preparing for today’s episode, I found myself asking a very simple question.

What does it actually mean to be The Light?

Because as believers, we say that phrase so easily. “Be the light.” “Shine your light in the Darkness.”It sounds beautiful and powerful. But have we actually stopped to ask what light is against the darkness, where it comes from and why it is so important?

I did a little trivia check while researching, just out of curiosity. The word light, in all its variations, light, lights, lamp, lighted, appears in the Bible almost 300 times.

That is not small or random.

Which makes me wonder, if something is repeated that much, have we slowed down enough to understand it?

Over the past few episodes in Darkness vs The Light series, we focused on the darkness. What it means, how we operate in it, how easy it is to adjust to it and how functioning in it long enough that it starts to feel normal.

But now we zoom into the light. Light is not important only when it is dark. Light defines, reveals, brings clarity. Darkness should only make us more aware of its absence.

On today’s episode of the Zoe Life podcast, we move past identifying darkness unto understanding the light as something foundational. Something present at the very beginning.

Put that at all together and we are stepping into what it truly means to be light in the darkness.

    Let’s begin🔥

  • Darkness vs The Light II: Operating in the Dark.
    Feb 14 2026

When I was a child, a power outage felt terrifying.

The lights would go off, and suddenly everything familiar felt uncertain. Shadows stretched. Sounds felt louder. Even my own room did not feel the same.

Maybe you remember that feeling too.

In this second part of The Darkness vs The Light series: Operating in the Darkness, we move beyond simply acknowledging the dark and begin asking what happens when we learn to function in it.

Because after fear comes adjustment. Your eyes adapt. You learn how to move. You figure out where things are without needing the switch. But just because you can operate in the dark does not mean you were created for it.

And this is where it becomes deeper.

Darkness is not only something we fear. It can become something we grow comfortable in. What begins as survival can slowly turn into permission. Things done quietly. Choices made in hidden places. Patterns formed where no one sees. What we allow in the night has a way of determining what appears in the day.

So what does it mean to operate in the darkness?

    When does adaptation become compromise?

And how do we know whether we are navigating the dark… or being formed by it?

  • Darkness vs The Light I: The Introduction
    Feb 6 2026

    In the beginning…

    Darkness.

    Formless. Void.

And evening passed, and morning came.

If you grew up in church, you have heard these words before. The very first lines. The first page. In the beginning, God created. It sounds simple. Familiar. Almost easy to move past.

But before light was spoken into existence, the earth was formless and void. Darkness covered the deep.

    What is it about darkness?

    Why does creation begin there?

And what does it mean that God did not eliminate the darkness first, but spoke into it?

On today’s episode, Darkness vs The Light: The Introduction, we begin unpacking the depth behind those opening verses. The artistry.

The tension. The separation of light from darkness. What it reveals about darkness from the very start.

Because maybe this is not just about the first page of Scripture.

Maybe it is about understanding what God does when everything feels unformed.
