  • In the Trenches Together: God’s Faithfulness Through Unexpected Suffering – Part 2
    Jun 30 2026

Welcome To the Table. Today, my good friends Kayla Cain and Amy Johnston are joining me to talk about a season of unexpected suffering. In this episode, you'll hear how the Lord carries them through a terribly difficult season as a family, which in the end became a miracle of God’s healing that they were able to share with so many people. As always, my prayer is that you are encouraged in some way by hearing their story and are reminded today that God works in all the tiny details. Grab a seat and join us for this week’s episode. ☕

    Jun 9 2026

Welcome To the Table. Today, my friend Christy Holt is joining me to talk about a season of heartbreak in her life. In my experience, people don’t always share the difficulty in their relationships as quickly as they share loss or grief. As you listen today, I hope you feel encouraged in your own relationships and see the value of surrounding yourself with a community of people who truly want God’s best for your life. • Updates from Jenna
    Jun 2 2026

Welcome To the Table. Today, we’re sitting down together to talk about what’s been going on in the Johnson household. I’m truly grateful for Jenna’s honesty and how she's thoughtfully considering what she (and her family) needs during this time. While the podcast may look a little different, I have no doubt that she will continue to champion this ministry, just from a different seat.

  • In the Trenches Together: God’s Faithfulness in Deep Loss
    May 26 2026

Welcome To the Table. Join me as we welcome my friend, Morgan Ring, to the podcast. This is one of those conversations that stays with you long after it’s over—at least, that was my experience sitting across from her.

Morgan is our very first guest in our summer series, where we are choosing to look straight at the hard things and the heavy seasons. As she says in the episode, we are truly here to learn from one another and give people a safe space to simply share their story. Let’s get into it – grab a seat and join us for this week’s episode.

A gentle note: We talk deeply about grief and loss in this episode. If you are currently walking through a tender season of loss, please protect your heart and listen only if and when it feels right for you.

  • In the Trenches Together: God’s Faithfulness in Hard Seasons
    May 19 2026

Welcome To the Table. This summer, we are entering into a special series where we’re getting incredibly honest about the hard seasons of life. We’re sitting down with friends who have walked through the deepest valleys and seen the undeniable faithfulness of God—not just through his presence, but through the hands and feet of the community that refused to let them walk alone. I am more than delighted to welcome my mom, Diane Holloway, to the podcast to kick off this new season with me. My prayer is that wherever you find yourself today, you’ll leave here feeling encouraged to keep going, keep showing up, and keep seeing the Lord’s faithfulness as you walk through whatever season you’re in today.

Matthew 14:22-33 - ...And Peter answered him, “Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water.” He said, “Come.” So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water and came to Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out, “Lord, save me.” Jesus immediately reached out his hand and took hold of him, saying to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. And those in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”

Luke 10:38-42 - Now as they went on their way, Jesus entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet and listened to his teaching. But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.” But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.”

Philippians 4:7-8 - And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

Joshua 1:9 - Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

  • How can we show up to help everyone find a place in community?
    May 12 2026

Welcome To the Table. Our guest today, Dana Dorris, joins us to talk about something we don’t always stop to consider: what it means to truly feel part of a community when communication barriers exist. Dana shares her experiences with the deaf community and reflects on how those barriers can make connection and belonging more challenging.

In our conversation, she tells us how she became involved in deaf ministry, what that work looks like today, and how it creates a meaningful seat at the table for those the ministry serves. There’s so much heart in this discussion, so grab a seat and join us.

Matthew 7: 3-5 - Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.
