• Aim for Jesus, Get Sobriety Thrown In: Jon Seidl's Story of Faith, Addiction, and Finding True Freedom | ep. 40
    Apr 2 2026

What do you do when you love Jesus with your whole heart — and still can't stop? In this episode, Kim sits down with Jon Seidl — author of Confessions of a Christian Alcoholic and founder of Veritas Recovery — to talk about his journey from faith to alcoholism, and back to the truest freedom he's ever known.

Jon's story is not what you expect. He grew up in the church, loved Jesus, wrote a book on faith and mental health — and slowly became an alcoholic in the process. What he found on the other side isn't just sobriety. It's a life more whole and free than he knew was possible.

This episode is for anyone who has ever struggled with something they couldn't stop — addiction, anxiety, disordered relationships, work, food, or anything else occupying the throne of your heart. As Jon says: anything that is misordered is disordered. And the gospel has something to say about all of it.

What you will hear in this episode:

    · Jon's story from rock bottom to redemption

    · Why Christians can still struggle

    · The difference between sobriety and true freedom

    · The four foundational steps to living a fulfilled and flourishing life

  • When God Says Go with Amanda Zumbrock | ep. 39
    Mar 19 2026

What do you do when God calls you into the unknown — and absolutely nothing about it feels clear? In this episode of Two Feet In, Kim sits down with Amanda Zumbrock to talk about what it really means to follow God's calling after college when the map is blank and the only instruction is "go."

Amanda's story of stepping out in faith, trusting God in uncertainty, and saying yes to a church plant in Austin is equal parts honest and inspiring. If you've ever felt stuck between God's will and your own plans, wondered whether you've already missed your moment, or needed someone to tell you that obedience doesn't require certainty — this episode is for you.

In this episode, you'll hear: How to follow God when you don't know what's next · Why God gives you the freedom to choose (and you can't mess it up) · How faith and community go hand-in-hand · Why ministry is less about your job title and more about the spaces you're already in.
