  • Devil Worship, Obsession and Murder : Episode 522
    Jun 29 2026

Elizabeth Simms-Rees was a kind and trusting young woman whose life was brutally cut short at just 21 by someone she considered a friend.

The man responsible, Richard Cullen, had a long history of violence and a disturbing obsession with the occult and devil worship. In this episode, I examine the events leading up to one of Swansea's most shocking murders, the investigation that followed, and the lasting impact of Elizabeth's murder.

  • Murdered Just Steps From Home : Episode 521
    Jun 25 2026

Scott Pritchard was just 19 years old when he was brutally attacked only yards from his family home in Sunderland. The football-mad teenager, who was recovering from a broken foot and relying on crutches, was especially vulnerable when he was ambushed and fatally struck with a blunt object.

For years, his murder remained one of the North East's most enduring unsolved cases. His family suffered unimaginable heartbreak, while Scott's dad faced the additional anguish of being wrongly suspected of his own son's killing. In this episode, I examine the investigation, the mistakes, the unanswered questions, and the extraordinary twist that finally revealed the truth. It is the story of a family who refused to give up hope and a case that proved justice can sometimes arrive in the most unexpected way.

  • The Football Fraud : Episode 520
    Jun 22 2026

Medi Abalimba had a talent for convincing people he was someone else. Over the years, he posed as professional footballers, wealthy businessmen and well-connected insiders, gaining access to luxury lifestyles and the trust of his victims. In this episode of the UK True Crime podcast, I examine the rise and repeated downfall of one of Britain's most prolific fraudsters, and how his lies continued to convince new victims to spend their mone on him, despite his multiple convictions. Sometimes it seems, jsut having the confidence is everything...

I first came across this podcast on Spotify which was great for me but finding it here just makes me want to listen to every episode again!
I highly recommend if you are interested in true crime but prefer a short summary of cases, most episodes are 20 ish minutes so they're great for snapshots of events. Very easy listen!

A brilliant addition to my week

I absolutely love these podcasts. The stories are detailed and interesting, & are delivered in an entertaining manner. I also enjoy the year and month game at the beginning of the podcasts, which sets the scene time-wise. Well done Adam!
