In Part 7 of We Walk by Faith, Pastor Mike Stevens challenges us to “fight the good fight of the faith.” Drawing from Paul’s encouragement to Timothy, we’re reminded that faith isn’t passive. It requires action, courage, and a willingness to trust God even when fear is loud. Just like Timothy, we may feel called but not confident, yet God invites us to step forward anyway and contend for what truly matters.
Looking at the Israelites on the edge of the Promised Land, we see a powerful contrast between walking by faith and walking by sight. While Caleb and Joshua trusted God’s promise, others gave in to fear and missed out on what God had prepared. The message is clear for us today: we are not meant to sit on the sidelines. God has called each of us to step up, trust Him fully, and take the shot. Faith means engaging the fight, speaking truth, and living boldly in what God has called us to do.
