At 23 years old she spent 10 days in the Women's Lunatic Asylum on Blackwell's Island, exposing the mistreatment of the marginilised in these institutions and sparking reform. Her investigative journalism would take her around the world and even to the Eastern Front during the Great War, but tht's only part of her story.

They tell everyone what tehy find and it is assumed that this is a famine grave. It's sealed up and ignored for 40 years until someone starts questioning what happened to the 796 children that died in The Home. Get ready for a very Irish scandal.
