  • Kate Regan: Healing Your Relationship with Food & Navigating PCOS
    Apr 13 2026

In this episode of Women in the Nude, Sasha Pieterse sits down with Kate Regan—registered dietitian, nutritionist and founder of Wholesome Chick Nutrition—for a refreshing and vital conversation about dismantling diet culture and reclaiming your relationship with food.

Kate opens up about her personal journey through disordered eating and how finding the "Health at Every Size" framework completely redirected her career. Together, they dive into the toxic media narratives of the 90s, the current pressures of social media, and Kate’s radical guiding principle: that you and your body are actually on the same team.

This episode is a roadmap for untangling years of diet culture messaging and finding what Kate calls "food freedom."

Your body is your teammate: Shifting from a mindset of combat to one of cooperation is the first step toward healing.

The "Additive" Approach: True nutrition is about what you can add to your plate to feel your best, rather than what you should cut out.

Blood Sugar Balance: Managing PCOS and insulin resistance requires nuance, not restriction.

Ending Intergenerational Diet Culture: The language we use about our own bodies directly impacts the next generation.

Community over Isolation: Recovery and growth happen best when we share our struggles and find collective support.
