Max Frischs Tagebuch "1946-1949" ist eine Bestandsaufnahme. In ihm mischen sich Reiseberichte aus dem kriegszerstörten Deutschland und aus Osteuropa mit Persönlichem, Reflexionen über entstehende Werke mit Überlegungen zu seinem Selbstverständnis als Bürger und Künstler.
