This collection of pieces that I have written is, in my opinion, some of my best writing thus far in my short endeavor into being an author. They are poems and quotes about relationships that I have had over my lifetime, and though most I will never see or hear from again, they still are and will always be very much alive in my ink and memories. With that being said, there are always those that stand out in my heart, mind, and soul more than all the others and today are a very big part of my life in one way or another.

The purpose for which I wrote the following poem(s) is because they assisted me in expressing the feelings, thoughts, and emotions which I was having at the time while I walked through a relatively challenging period of my life. I hope to inspire other young Black males to also express their thoughts, talk about their feelings, and to hopefully try to make the world a better place. Allow yourself as the listener to think of your own perspective regarding these topics, issues, and subject matters.

The poems in this small volume are often short, humorous, and reckless, like many of the poems by this author in Persian. Like this one: Who knows? / Maybe we have someone like Gandhi, / But he has not yet returned from Africa. It is not possible to comment definitively on the genre or atmosphere of the poems, but most of them wander between romantic-erotic and sociopolitical. A recent category without indigenous signs is heavily influenced by the historical confidence of the totalitarian and repressive rulers of Iran.
