It’s Christmas time, and the entire Thornton clan is spending the holidays in a cabin deep in the Washington woods. What could go wrong with twelve adults, four kids, and a dog all staying together in one big cabin? Only the most chaotic - and memorable - Christmas ever!

Doch dann fällt ein jäher Schatten über das frohe Treiben, als nach einem Konzert im Castello di Arechi eine bekannte Musikkritikerin erstochen aufgefunden wird. Die Stiche wurden gezielt gesetzt und mit unglaublicher Wucht ausgeführt.

Was Iris über Sexualität sagt, ist nicht spektakulär, eher unscheinbar, wie "Man kann Sexualität nicht machen, man kann nur in sie hineingehen". Über solche Sätze kann man hinweggehen. Aber wenn man nicht darüber hinweggeht, dann können sie eine Kraft entfalten und wirklich etwas ändern. Das ist mir beim Bearbeiten für die Herausgabe des Buches passiert. Ich bin hineingegangen in das, was Iris dort sagt. Und plötzlich konnte ich greifen, was es heißt, Sexualität nicht zu machen, sondern in sie hinein zu gehen.

Ich fühle mich bedrückt, unleidig, vom Leben ungerecht behandelt, habe Kopfschmerzen, will am liebsten morgens im Bett bleiben, schaue mit Argwohn auf Menschen um mich herum, werde unfair... Es geht mir nicht so toll. Dies alles sind Symptome des Irrgefühls. Er ist eigentlich kein Gefühl sondern ein Zustand, aber wir fühlen uns dabei... hmmm... nicht toll.
