Evidently, for whatever reason, there were still many who fail to comprehend who Mikhail Bulatov really is. These are the ones who see him as just a Healer. Their attempts to kill him in a duel, or to simply poison him only amuse him. But his first government contract to treat an aristocrat is encouraging. Mikhail enjoys working as a Healer—it is, after all, his calling. And how refreshing to use his Gift not to kill, but to heal, as well.

Mikhail came here from a world where not just force, but also a man's word, meant something. But here in his new home, it was different. Not only were there few here who possessed strong Gifts, or were truly powerful mages, there were still fewer who knew how to keep their word. How, then, was he to restore the status of the Bulatov Family? Of course, as the head of the Family, Mikhail would never give up, and he always managed to find a way to outsmart his adversaries. 

The village continues to grow and develop, but this harsh world will never leave its residents alone. Anyone who stops developing is bound to perish. New, even more dangerous opponents await, but so do new opportunities.

A good Healer, they say, must use his Gift professionally. Really? No one in my past world would spout such nonsense! Everyone there knew full well what a Healer from the Order was capable of . . . And they also know that a Healer doesn't have to kowtow to anybody. But now, I'm no longer in that world. And in this world, I am not only a great Healer, I am also a great count, one that can do far more than heal, as my enemies know full well. But little do they know that I've only just begun!

Die Machtübernahme des Systems hat die Welt erschüttert und der Menschheit so gut wie keine Überlebenschance gelassen. Doch das System bringt nicht nur Tod und Zerstörung. Ja, es hat den Großteil der Weltbevölkerung erst ermordet und dann aus den Toten grausame Monster gemacht. Und diese Monster entwickeln sich zu allem Überfluss auch noch in Rekordzeit weiter. Aber davon abgesehen ist es im System auch den Menschen möglich, sich zu entwickeln!

It once seemed like the world had been shaken by the coming of the System, leaving no chance for humanity to survive. But the System didn't always mean death! Yes, it had killed the majority of the population on the planet, making horrifying monsters out of the dead, who, in addition to everything else, had a tendency to evolve right in front of your very eyes. But that had also given people the opportunity to develop!

The System took over the whole world in an instant, and people lost any ability to communicate with each other. But the deadies weren't the only ones who could get better. Over time all the peoples of the earth found ways to contact each other, with the System allowing them to trade, communicate, and come to each other's aid.

A terrible threat hangs over the Village, yet it is also a chance. For the world is much bigger than the humans imagined and they occupy but a tiny part of it. And while they ran around with sticks and dressed in animal hides, monumental events took place around them. Nicholas has now landed...

The end of the world is always a nightmare. But when it comes with the System, then it's not a nightmare for everyone. Not everybody is ready to fall into despair and come to terms with their fate as zombie food. Some people are ready to keep fighting however they can. Take Kasp as an example of one of those people. The end of the world was no nightmare for him. In fact, when the zombies and the System showed up, it brought new meaning to his life along with exciting new adventures! 

The world could not escape this misfortune that came out of the blue, so the System is still providing its inhabitants with entertainment. In addition to developing and constantly introducing new possibilities for the inhabitants of the planet, the System is also trying to complicate their lives. Who knows why that is? Maybe that's how some higher power is trying to make the survivors move forward, to become stronger and smarter. And to mobilize all their strength and forget about their boring and meaningless old lives.

Mikhail's adventures continue. He's finding out ever more about this world, and the Empire in which he lives. But he's in for some surprises, still. They've tasked him with training the most hopeless students from the Department of Healing Arts. Perhaps this was meant to be a way of punishing Mikhail, but in the end, it's tough luck for the students. After all, look at who they got for a teacher! One thing's for sure, no way will these students end up as mediocre Healers!

The residents of the Village have managed to overcome all the trials and tribulations. Under Nicholas's leadership, they have achieved the seemingly impossible. Combined the incompatible. Reconciled the irreconcilable.

The System just keeps throwing new experiences at our MC and his friends. For example, our antisocial lone-wolf hero Kasp was awarded the title of Head of the Settlement by the System. However, he has no intentions of being a leader.

Alle wussten sehr gut, wozu ein Heiler des Ordens imstande war… Und sie wussten auch, dass ein Heiler vor niemandem katzbuckelt. Ich bin dabei, die alte Herrschaft der Familie Bulatow wiederherzustellen, und jetzt habe ich alles, was ich dafür brauche. Einschließlich von Unterstützern aus einer anderen Welt. Arbeite für mich - oder geh mir aus dem Weg!

Einem nichtsahnenden Betrachter könnte sich ohne weiteres der Eindruck aufdrängen, dass ein gewisser junger Graf mit viel zu vielen Feinden zu kämpfen hat. Vor allem, wenn man bedenkt, dass seine Gabe mit Kampffähigkeiten nicht das Geringste zu tun hat. Das Gebiet im Norden, in dem seine Grafschaft liegt, scheint fremdweltlerische Invasoren magnetisch anzuziehen. Aber unter seinen Feinden sind auch Konkurrenten und natürlich benachbarte Aristokraten, die sich die Ländereien und Güter dieses unverschämten jungen Emporkömmlings, dieses Grafen Bulatow, unter den Nagel reißen wollen.

Michail kommt aus einer anderen Welt, einer Welt, in der die Macht eines Mannes ebenso wie sein Wort noch Bedeutung besaßen. Aber hier in seiner neuen Heimat ist alles anders. Nur wenige besitzen eine Gabe, die stark genug ist, um wahrhaft mächtige Magier hervorzubringen – und noch weniger Menschen scheinen zu wissen, wie man sein Wort hält. Wie kann er unter diesen Umständen am besten den Status der Familie Bulatow wiederherstellen? Als Oberhaupt dieser Familie gibt Michail natürlich niemals auf und findet immer einen Weg, seine Feinde zu überlisten.

Michails Macht wuchs mit jedem Tag, und sein Adelshaus war wieder aufgeblüht. Allerdings ging es ihren Feinden ebenso gut. Es waren neue auf den Plan getreten, und die alten, die sie schon lange abgeschrieben hatten, meldeten sich zurück. Aber war das wirklich ein Problem? Er war doch ein Heiler, und ein Heilmittel gab es immer. Und die von ihm verordneten "Behandlungen" ließen sich nicht aufhalten! Oh ja, seine Feinde würden teuer dafür bezahlen.

Was könnte einfacher sein? An meinem allerersten Tag in dieser Welt bin ich zum Grafen aufgestiegen, mit allem Pipapo: einem Schloss, einem Namen, Ländereien und Macht. Man könnte meinen, ich hätte es geschafft, aber nein... Mein Schloss wurde erobert, meine Ländereien wurden mir genommen, und jetzt bin ich von Feinden umgeben. Außerdem machen mir die Behörden ununterbrochen Kopfschmerzen. Und auch wenn ich mein Schloss zurückerobert habe – da sind immer noch die Nachbarn, die nichts anderes im Sinn zu haben scheinen, als Teile meines Landes abzuspalten und mich, das neue Oberhaupt der Familie, zu beseitigen.

Ich war der mächtigste Heiler in meiner Welt – der beste. Mein ganzes Leben hatte ich der Kunst des Heilens gewidmet. Trotzdem fürchtete mein Bruder aus unerfindlichen Gründen, dass ich Anspruch auf seinen Thron erheben würde, und führte sein Heer gegen mich ins Feld. Aber das spielt im Grunde keine Rolle, ich hatte ohnehin vor, ein bestimmtes Ritual zu versuchen, und jetzt... Ich bin in einer anderen Welt!? Nicht in meinem Körper, sondern in dem eines jungen Mannes! Und was soll das heißen – die Gabe des Heilers ist in dieser Welt nicht einmal den Dreck unterm Fingernagel wert? Offenbar, dass die hier nicht wissen, wie man mit Macht umgeht.

Oh nein, Michail ist nicht gierig–ganz und gar nicht! Er ist einfach nur sparsam. Und praktisch veranlagt. Und es ist ihm schlichtweg unverständlich, wie jemand Trophäen auf einem Schlachtfeld liegen lassen kann. Das bedeutet auf keinen Fall, dass er etwas stiehlt! Und natürlich ist Michail auch kein Sklaventreiber! Obwohl diejenigen, die er mit miesen Tricks dazu bringt, Dienstverträge mit ihm zu unterschreiben, ohne weiteres anderer Meinung sein könnten, was das betrifft.
