Of course I’d wind up kidnapped. As if the jungle, viper bites, piranhas, killer bugs, and the five sexy dipstick-for-brains I saved weren’t enough, I’m now a captive of some lab coat weirdos in an experimentation facility. Another rare shifter is being held here. I can feel him. Yep, another freaking mate. In case you haven’t been counting, that makes it six fated mates…sheesh! Who did I tick off in the universe to deserve all of this? No need to send help, because I’ve got this...as soon as I find some clothes.

The Ancients’ world is under attack. The lips delivering this unexpected news to me are even more unexpected. They belong to Lokene, the charming and mischievous young man I fell in love with before my beloved Atlantis sank into the sea. The Ancients have sent him to request my aid because he’s my mate, and they think I will listen to him. Did I mention Lokene is an Ancient? Oh, and he has the ability to give me legs, and take them away, at will. I swear he’s enjoying this. If I could train my great white shark, Sheba, I’d be teaching her to nip his butt.

He’s spent months watching my every move. Stalking me from the shadows, waiting for the right moment. When he strikes, I’m not ready. I’m surrounded by strangers, and far from anyone who might have cared, or at the very least, noticed if I suddenly disappeared.

I have huge man problems—literally—since one of my mates is a T-Rex. Things are about to get interesting, because my day job happens to be in a museum, a museum full of dinosaur bones, if you know what I mean. It turns out my bloodline is older than dirt, and an ancestral matchmaker decided to send me some gifts…aka, men. And not just any men, but dinosaur shifters from the past.

We'd arrived at the museum, and everything was going well. Okay, fine. That's a lie. It had gone exactly like the rest of my life had since my dino mates had come crashing into my life… which is to say, it had been a catastrophe of prehistoric proportions. By a weird twist of fate, we'd narrowly avoided being arrested after we'd destroyed the fundraising gala and terrorized the guests. Things didn't go as I'd planned for the rest of the trip, either. Especially when Albert decided to slip his leash and go looking for his own little souvenir to take home….

When the museum director throws me a bone by arranging for us to visit a fossil dig in Utah, I jump at the opportunity. I need a breather from all the craziness that has become my life since waking multiple dino shifters. A dig in Utah sounds like exactly what I need, the perfect getaway. As long as I stay away from any dino shifter bones… other than in the bedroom, of course.
