Diamanten für den Elefanten. Zum ersten Mal seit Langem werden die britischen Kronjuwelen wieder in Indien ausgestellt. Ausgerechnet am Tag, als Inspector Chopra das Museum in Mumbai besucht, geschieht jedoch das Undenkbare: Die Krone von Königin Victoria mitsamt dem berühmten Koh-I-Noor-Diamanten wird gestohlen.
