When Dr. Watson returns to London from a weekend seminar, he finds hat Sherlock Holmes has been arrested. Inspector Lestrade refers Watson to a questionable psychiatric hospital where Holmes is jailed for mental incapacity.

While Sherlock is running errands, Dr. Watson receives a potential client in his place on Baker Street. The problem presented, though, seems to be of little relevance, which is why the case was declined. However, a few hours later a serious crime actually happens within the circle of the associate.

When Sherlock and Dr. Watson visit a bank branch close to their apartment, they involuntarily slither into a robbery. The perpetrator ends up taking hostages and threatens to shoot them if he is not given an escape vehicle.

Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson travel to the North where they have a somewhat unusual case to solve. Out in the moors a somewhat peculiar corpse has been found. Even though the deceased was heavily armed with a medieval axe, he himself died from severe wounds. Holmes offers a surprising conclusion.

A few days before Christmas Inspector Lestrade is asking Holmes for assistance in a strange murder case. The extremely challenging and downright dangerous investigation leads them to a catholic abbey in Middlesex, where evil strikes terror into people's hearts.

8. Genetics: When the Librarian is murdered too, Holmes is at a loss at first. But then he finds a book at the crime scene, with contents that could profoundly question Christian faith.

7. The Librarian: The Confession brings no further clues. After Brother Nicholas promises key information, Holmes and Watson are visiting the impressive and ancient Library.

4. The Mortal Vessel: Holmes and Watson begin with their investigation. They visit the crime scene, the victims dorm room and inspect the body. In the process Holmes makes a discovery.

6. Confession: A fire erupts in the Chapel, which the Friars are able to extinguish. However, the Confessionals can still take place. Meanwhile Holmes has contact with an important witness.
