I never thought my chambers would be my shelter and safety, and even then, I sleep lightly. Awake I am fearful, seeing the changes in Kane I cannot comprehend. Sleep brings me no solace, as it is lit by a burning brightness that engulfs me, and a stranger's voice I do not trust. I search for the flame that Kane had lit for me, burning in his eyes, but now I find only darkness. The fire that burned deep within my core for Kane, expounded by our bonded souls, feels cold and empty.

A man who's reincarnated through several "game-like" worlds bites off much more than he can chew when he decides to visit a world with an "impossible" clear difficulty. Will lifetimes of previous knowledge be enough to combat the effects of deadly curses? Oh, and did I mention - he can only level by purifying curses?

No man has ever shown himself to be worth my time, and Commander Axis has a long way to go to prove that he will ever be anything other than my pledged prince in this alliance wedding between our planets. But if being his bride is the way that I can save our oceans from the blue flu decimating our animal life, then so be it. As long as he still lets me sail the seas and be free, I’ll play this game. It doesn’t mean I have to give up who I am.

Takuma has taken the brunt of several curses, some life threatening. Despite this, he finally makes it to safety. Unfortunately, he still has much to learn about being a Relic Meister.
