These all-day seminars were held at the Creative Life Center in Sedona, Arizona. In this series, Dr. Hawkins presents the necessary information and steps to follow to reach the state of Enlightenment, with this particular lecture focusing on how to have the conviction required in order to advance spiritually. He calibrates the truth of the statements made during each lecture.

Dr. Hawkins recites the 91st Psalm, which was one of his favorite biblical passages that he focused on intensely during his own journey. The Psalm describes how when one devotes one’s life to God, God will always take care of you through any challenge that may arise. A valuable tool for all to navigate human life.

Talk #1: In this insightful session, Dr. Hawkins and his wife, Susan discuss the reality of life and its challenges. He discusses sex and spiritual conflict, along with guilt, religion, programming, and social belief systems. He describes low-energy and high-energy sex, how to overcome impotence and lack of response, and how to transcend desire so that one is not at the effect of it.

Dr. Hawkins elaborates on his personal growth, physical challenges, and the different aspects of self-healing available through the power of A Course in Miracles. The Satsang Series is an informal bi-monthly event that opens with a few remarks by Dr. Hawkins. He then answers questions from the audience relating to the information presented in his books and lectures on consciousness research and spiritual realities, as well as other spiritual matters and current events. Often described as "unique" and "awesome", Dr. Hawkins' presentations are frequently humorous as well, despite his formal title in the Far East as "Tae Ryoung Sun Kak Dosa" (the "Foremost Teacher of Enlightenment").

Stress results from our point of view, from what we hold in mind, as well as from our attitudes and beliefs. The source of stress is within ourselves and not out in the world. There is no escaping stress in the world, for it is self-created. Relief occurs from understanding its true cause. What is exhilarating to one person is debilitating to another. Dr. Hawkins describes methods of precluding stress rather than trying to alleviate its aftermath.

Dr. Hawkins reviews the scale of emotions and their energy fields. He shows how to get out of depression instantly. He unveils the real cause of depression and teaches that biochemical changes in the brain are a consequence and not the cause. He reveals the basic cause of hopelessness and how to overcome it, along with sin, anger, guilt, self-hatred, and suicidal thoughts. When there is loss of meaning and self-worth, there is a need to create a new context.

Dr. Hawkins opens this lecture with thoughts about the mind, positionality, and dedication to truth. A person has to be willing to sacrifice everything and anything for the truth. He explains how "wantingness" causes misery and that one’s point of view contributes to that state. Stating the truth usually upsets some people. He discusses the spiritual ego, our perceived faults, what to do about them in order to become "bulletproof", and what brings us joy. In contrast, he talks about hatred in the world today and the actions that come out of it.
