Molly learns a lesson or two when what should have been a routine mission turns into a comical farce. Meanwhile, down on Estaria, Director Bates puts together pieces of a plot which point to a reality check for the Federenials, who always thought that the Federation would be there to protect them. At some point, Molly grew up, and it takes a Grimes to show her, and her team, how Molly has changed. And Molly to help re-direct a Grimes towards the right path in life.

When a blip appears on the Ogg-Estarian military radar monitoring the Outer System, things in the system are set to change forever. Molly and her crew face one of their biggest challenges yet, and the problem isn’t the supposed threat from outside. It’s from the planet itself. Molly rallies the troops for a particularly dangerous encounter, but also needs to call in some favors from some old friends. Will she be able to stop things from boiling over in time?

Between setting up the office and hiring new preternatural staff with some surprising...talents, Taylor tasks Remy with a new case. She assumes he will stick to her instructions, but this is Remy: reformed frat boy. Low compliance. With a desperate need to prove himself.... Of course, he won’t stick to the plan. So when things heat up with the dwarven cartel - and the preternatural world order hangs in the balance - it'll take everything Taylor has to prevent the city of New York from being exposed to all she's managed to keep secret for centuries.

When a nascent AI hacks her holo device, Molly Bates has to think fast and get out of the military before anyone discovers what has happened. The only problem? With Moswen still on the loose and the whole preternatural world in mortal danger, Taylor realizes that drastic times call for drastic measures. Meanwhile, Remy and the team - oblivious to the dire situation Taylor is getting into - work to track down Moswen and her goons. A clear plan of what they're going to do if they find her eludes them.... How do they take on the world's oldest, most powerful vampire? Of course, Moswen is tracking their every move and intends to pick them off one by one before they can get close.

Taylor sets Remy on the trail of a dwarven drug cartel responsible for supplying humans with preternatural drugs. Is this just another way to test if Remy can stay alive? These drugs are deadly to humans. In order to prevent countless human deaths and keep the preternatural world hidden, Remy has to stop the deal from happening and take out the supply chain. This would be just a regular Tuesday except Moswen is closing in and her attacks are getting more targeted.

Erschwerend kommt hinzu, dass eine Gruppe aus England glaubt, Michaels Blut sei genau das, was sie für ihr Geschäft brauchen. Und gleichzeitig wollen sie fiese Vampire von der Straße holen. Außerdem beginnen die Bemühungen, die Schiffsteile des Heiligen Clans zusammenzulegen, langsam zu greifen. Leider will niemand Michael und seiner neuen Familie helfen.
