There are three rules to fighting a rebel. Rule one: Play their games. They might be rebels, but they prefer compliance. Hypocritical jerks. Rule two: Teach them they’re not in charge. If they disagree, devour them. No one can resist a dhampir’s bite. Rule three: Forget all the rules. Because anything goes. With the fate of the Royale future on the line, I must do what I know how to do best and rebel against those who think they can control me. The Baron Coven believes I’m theirs, but they’ll figure out soon enough that I’ll never give up Bronx, Jameson, Mikkalo, and Everett.

After the revelation of the head of the Royale Region’s demise, Bronx, Everett, Mikkalo, and Jameson must figure out how to save our home. While my four perfect vampires stress and prepare for a possible region takeover, I prepare for a future where I’m no longer the most important. And it scares me to death. I wouldn’t change it, though. Because my guys have never been happier. Too bad the only way I see the five of us getting through this is to start a war against my family.

A war brews on the edge of our region with the rise of enemies from my past. Why a coven of unregistered vampires thinks they can claim me? I’m sure to find out. Maintaining order among the Royale Region as our enemies take out our allies proves more difficult than we imagined. But there is no way I’m handing myself over to some guys who think I’m the key to changing an entire territory. Unfortunately for me, the enemies of my past are far worse than disgruntled Blood Rebels. Their presence threatens to expose that the former head of the Royale Coven is dead.

My three perfect vampire matches. A trip to the mountains for an awkward holiday. Uninvited party guests with an insatiable hunger only I can quench? The celebration of Winter Nights is about to suck. And not in a good way. If I’m going to survive a disaster and save Kingston, Diego, and Austin from pouting during their favorite time of year, I’ll have to summon a back-world Christmas miracle. Because if I don’t succeed, I’ll disappoint the guys who promised me forever. I’ll ruin the holidays for everyone. So, a miracle it is. If only it wasn’t so bloody.
