Rebekah Daniels is always excited about something. Most of the time, it's anything at all to do with solving a mystery. Now, she's super excited to be going to a brand new school with her best friend, Mouse. So far, her first day isn't starting out so well, though. It's field trip day! It's always fun to have some time away from school, and Rebekah especially enjoys field trips, because she almost always finds something interesting to explore. And today, they are getting a chance to step back in time. When the tour guide tells the students that they can explore the old village, except for the one house at the end, of course Rebekah's curiosity is sure to get the best of her. Especially when she's sure that she sees someone waving to her from the window. How could that be? Is the girl real? Rebekah is on the case!

Rebekah's always looking to brush up on her detective skills. Often, the right book is exactly the thing she needs to take her mystery solving to the next level. But sometimes, the book you're looking for isn't the book you're meant to find. And the book that Rebekah finds in the library is a sight to behold - strange and wonderfully unique, with its jeweled cover. When the librarian can't find the book in the system, Rebekah has to have it. What could be more wonderful and mysterious than this? She's up for the challenge!

Something very stinky is in the air! It started with some wise cracks during gym class, which Rebekah first thought was just a mean boy teasing another student. But when she becomes the target of the smelly offense, she has to get to the bottom of where the smell is actually coming from. It's so disgusting! Is it smelly towels? Rotten alien food of some sort? She won't stop until she and the rest of the school can walk the halls without having to plug their noses.

It's a very exciting day for Rebekah. She has been selected to show new student, Camila, around the school. Rebekah loves meeting new people and especially someone like Camila, who comes from Mexico. She already has an entire list of questions written down in her special notebook. But how could it be? May loved having her granddaughters visit. Ever since she'd shared the magical land of Faylea with them, they'd begged their parents to let them come every chance they had. Hearing their stories after a trip to the magical world made May's heart soar. She knew that they were the perfect guardians and she loved hearing how their powers were developing more and more after each visit.

Trinity could hardly believe the adventure that had become her life. She was used to activities that got her heart racing. Soccer and a need for speed typically kept her from getting bored.
