Is he a friend from her past that wants to help her get out of the CIA’s crosshairs?

Cain, still reeling from the attack on his girlfriend, gets even more suspicious of Project Specter when they send him to Russia to find Dmitri Kurylenko, a man he has already secretly killed. After another attempt on his life, he soon learns of the agency's involvement in keeping his memory from him and sets to meet with a man who seems to know everything.

After being ambushed, Recker goes missing for several days and is presumed dead. Once he returns, he seeks retribution on the men responsible and turns to an unlikely source to help him get his revenge. As he embarks on his plot for retribution, he must not only carefully navigate around Mia's growing feelings for him, but also his own feelings for her. While still not forgetting his main goal of helping the innocent, Recker also further cements his relationship with Tyrell by helping him with a family problem.

Jones intercepts a message from someone reaching out for Haley for assistance. The Silencers split up temporarily, with Haley out of town and helping someone from his past. Recker is left to deal with an impending threat from someone he is all too familiar with, who is once again upping his efforts to gain more control of the city. With the help of Malloy, Recker will meet this growing menace head-on as Vincent’s grip of the city starts to loosen.

Bridge and Nicole are hired to find a man who stole a million dollars from his employer. Unfortunately, it’s not that easy to find him. The man has fled the country, and has numerous aliases, leading Bridge and Nicole to question everything they come across. Will they be able to find him and bring him back to justice, or will he slip away, leaving them holding the short end of the stick?

Alex Parker is back and, along with her partner, Jim Cole, still on the trail of a rogue CIA agent. Their pursuit takes them all over the world. Every time they get close to nabbing their target, he manages to slip away. Just as they're about to nab Heath Davis in Brazil, Parker is faced with the option of either capturing Davis or saving an innocent person's life. She defies orders and is temporarily suspended. Once Parker returns from suspension, she's hot on Davis' tail.

After the circumstances of Agent 17's death, the CIA turns to a specialist to help track down the man they think is responsible - John Smith. Though Recker knows Centurion is coming, he doesn't change how he operates and winds up on police surveillance cameras. Feeling the walls closing in, Jones wants to pack up and move to a new city, though Recker has reservations about leaving. It all boils down to a final confrontation between Recker and his former employers - one he may not survive.

Cari Porter's in France. She's hoping that her former apartment holds some answers in helping her to remember who she used to be. And maybe she's found something. There's a name, a passport, and a bank account. But is it actually hers? Or is it something that Dark Sky has planted in her apartment, hoping to draw her into a trap?

Even while Rich Mallette is in prison, he’s still calling the shots. Brett Jacobs may have taken out a dozen of his men, but he’s not ready to throw in the towel just yet. He’s still got a few things up his sleeve for the former detective, one of which is another heinous act aimed to destroy what’s left of Jacobs’ soul. While Jacobs battles more of Mallette’s Maulers, he also learns the identity of the second man who was with Frazier when his family was killed.

Cari Porter’s made it to Italy. But she hasn’t escaped. Dark Sky is still coming for her. Hidden in a safe house, Porter continues her search for answers about her past. Unfortunately for her, her past catches up with her. Just like everywhere else she’s been, people connected to her are killed, and she goes on the run again. This time, though, she’ll come face to face with someone who seemingly knows who she is. Will he give Porter the answers that she’s seeking, or will he be the one to finally bring her in…dead or alive?

Hall is lured into a trap, then rescued by an old acquaintance. That same acquaintance also helps Hall get his next job. It’s nothing but a simple blackmail case. Only in this case, there’s nothing simple about it. Hall’s latest case involves a woman who’s receiving threatening notes. As soon as he’s hired, though, the woman turns up dead. But that’s not the end of the case for Hall. Even though his client is dead, that won’t stop him. He’s going to get to the bottom of this case and find out the murderer.

Another menacing force has entered the city. The Tri-State Scorpions have migrated from New Jersey and are looking to make the city their own. Recker and the team have plans to stop them, but it will come at a cost. After one of the leaders of the Scorpions gets in a shootout with Haley, he is transported to a local hospital where Mia is working. The Scorpions take over the hospital, causing it to go on lockdown. After receiving a troublesome text message that indicates Mia is in some type of danger, Recker must find a way to get into the hospital and save her before it's too late.

As Jacobs becomes more at ease with his nickname and starts using his abilities to help others, he finds he is still not done with Mallette’s bunch. Or at least what they used to be known as. Lawrence Wiggins, Mallette’s lawyer, is found dead, leading the imprisoned crime boss to getting a new attorney appointed from New York. Only this one comes with caveats.
