This 14th installment of the Jerry McNeal Series has Jerry and Gunter heading to Texas. Feeling guilty at not having made his engagement to April official over the Christmas holidays, Jerry seeks to join her and Max for their annual after-Christmas getaway to Frankenmuth, Michigan. Not only is he looking forward to visiting the quaint Bavarian town, but since the town is known to visitors as a Christmas town, he sees this as a way to recreate the holiday spirit and finally make a commitment to both April and her daughter.
