Para las mujeres, en un país como México, la expectativa de vivir en riesgo es constante. En sus casas, en las calles, en el transporte público o en el trabajo, en cualquier lugar y momento, siempre existe la posibilidad de ser violentadas. Si bien conocemos historias de extrema violencia en los medios de comunicación y el tema ha adquirido cierta visibilidad, también existen muchas historias de violencia cotidiana que se quedan guardadas en la privacidad de los hogares.

Los protagonistas de este libro son jóvenes que decidieron compartir episodios de su vida donde el amor se ha combinado con golpes, humillaciones, abusos, y una clara ausencia de respeto. Los autores son jóvenes periodistas que han hecho exhaustivas investigaciones para dar con casos que muestran que la violencia no es exclusiva de ningún nivel educativo, económico ni cultural. Los expertos también se han sumado al compromiso de hacer eco sobre el tema de la violencia juvenil, y han aportado sus valiosas opiniones, resultado de su experiencia sobre el tema.

Cada situación de estrés y trauma ilumina a las demás, ya que estamos en la cúspide de una ciencia del estrés y el trauma.

Despite this, circumstances had forced me to this profession, since having as much time as I had now, locked up for life, I wouldn`t have much else to do. In this book we indicate how the current pandemic interweaves with that science, both benefiting and contributing to it.

Una mattina presto uno si alzò qualcosa all`improvviso sentì e privo di sensi crollò. Molto tempo era già passato quando un altro si avvicinò per indagare su ciò che lì era capitato e anch`egli collassò.
