Martin was on holiday in Cairo, Egypt, where he checked in to a cheap and dingy three-star hotel room. He walked around in the city looking inspirations for his new sci-fi book when he stumbled across an Egyptian old market/bazaar. He bought a shimmering and glowing blue crystal, which turned out to be an ancient gem that led to a portal to another dimension. A few days later he woke up in the hospital, supposedly after experiencing a rare form of food poisoning that caused vivid hallucinations. But the question remains, what really happened in the pyramid?

It’s the year 2872 and the young, beautiful, and insane Keila Eisenstein is on the run from her long-time stalker, Bjorn Muller. Escaping him for the umpteenth time, Keila crashes down on the asteroid colony Eden, most famous for the long-running reality show The Bronze Age Fools.

Far enough in the future for anything to be conceivable, the ridiculously wealthy and dementia-ridden villain Abraham Goldstein is defrauded by shrewd scientist Jack Brown into funding an implausible "secret" project to travel to heaven and meet God! Against all logic, the machine ends up working, and Abraham finds out the god is dead and that Yahweh, in his suicide letter, was kind enough to leave the schematics for the mind-control chip he used to convince Bronze Age humans he was a god.

In the distant future, the villainous trillionaire, Abraham Goldstein, funds a top-secret project to travel to the divine dimension and meet the god of his people. Upon reaching the divine dimension, he finds out that God is dead. He also finds the technology necessary to take God's place and become a god in the eyes of men.
