There’s a dark shadow hanging over the French Quarter, and Ofelia Archer is constantly looking over her shoulder because of it, waiting for the enemy to strike. While searching for one enemy, however, she finds another. On what was supposed to be a relaxing day on the riverwalk, a knife-wielding man tries to take out a street performer and chaos ensues. Life is going well for Hannah Hickok. When the infamous omen pops up, it seems one of the warring cheer coaches is in trouble. Rowan dedicates herself to finding who might have murder on the mind.

It’s not Halloween but horror is hitting The Bounding Storm … and Rowan Gray couldn’t be more excited. That’s right, the Indie Horror Movies are being held on the ship and that means the entire guest list is made up of members of the B-movie industry. As a horror buff, Rowan is having trouble containing her enthusiasm. She can’t wait to meet some of her favorites, although the experience might not be all she dreamed about.

When a local farmer is found dead on his property, Jack and Ivy find themselves embroiled in a dark mystery of epic proportions. The clues go back years and the suspect pool is unnaturally large given the number of workers on the farm. Ivy is going to have her hands full. She has to charm Jack's mother, find a murderer, and keep herself safe. When the end comes, Ivy finds herself saddled with an unlikely ally while Jack is fighting a battle against time to reach the woman he loves before a killer can snuff out their happily ever after.

Whisper Cove is stuck in a heat wave, although it's nothing compared to the fire stoking between Harper Harlow and Jared Monroe. Jason Thurman and Harper had a brief fling in high school, and when he returns to town to open a restaurant he's hoping they can revisit their relationship as adults.

When she returns to her home in Blackstone Bay following her mother's death, she has more to do than find peace with her past, she also has to try and reclaim the future she discarded when she left town after graduation. Her former best friend Nick Winters has been bitter since she walked away without a backward glance. A murder mystery throws them back together, and Maddie must decide if she can trust Nick with her biggest secret - and her heart.

The newly minted couple are in a good place, so when Jared asks Whisper Cove's favorite ghost hunter to go to Harsens Island to visit an old friend and his family, Harper jumps at the chance. Josh Stoker and Jared have a lot to catch up on, including the hard financial times the Stoker family is struggling to deal with. In an effort to keep their business empire afloat, the Stokers have turned their ancestral family home into an inn, and this week they just happen to be hosting a murder mystery event.
