The Secret Garden is the story of recently orphaned Mary Lennox who leaves India for Yorkshire (UK) to live with her uncle, what happens next is a heartwarming story of friendship, family, love, growth and the power of nature. Mary befriends Dickon, an animal charming local boy, and Colin, a sickly boy living in the mansion and together they discover "The Secret Garden."

The Secret Garden is a children's novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett first published as a book in 1911, after a version was published as an American magazine serial beginning in 1910. Set in England, it is one of Burnett's most popular novels and is considered a classic of English children's literature. Several stage and film adaptations have been made. The American edition was published by Stokes with illustrations by Maria Louise Kirk (signed as M. L. Kirk) and the British edition by Heinemann with illustrations by Charles Heath Robinson.

"Little Lord Fauntleroy" is the first children's novel written by English playwright and author Frances Hodgson Burnett. It was originally published as a serial in the St. Nicholas Magazine between November 1885 and October 1886, then as a book by Scribner's in 1886.

Her uncle is very distant due to the loss of his wife 10 years before. Neglected once again, she begins exploring the estate and discovers a garden that has been locked and neglected. Aided by one of the servants' boys, she begins restoring the garden, and eventually discovers some other secrets of the manor.

The Secret Garden is a wonderful children's book that explores the nature of curiosity and perseverance. When the young and sickly Mary Lennox is shipped off to her uncle's mansion after her parents' deaths, Mary doesn't know what to do. She feels alone and isolated within the confines of the giant Misselthwaite Mansion. Gradually, and without her uncle's knowledge, she builds new friendships with the staff of the mansion and her strength builds so that she is not as sickly as she had once been.

Part One is the story of the childhood of the heir to the throne, King Amor. In Part Two, King Amor grows into a tall, strong, handsome, and wise young man. He prepares for his coronation in the capitol city, and learns an important lesson that "There is no time for anger in the world".In the final part of the story, King Amor imparts his great wisdom to the wretchedly self-centered people of his kingdom, through the act of having each of them plant and nurture a rare blue flower.
