Susie asked listeners to send in ideas for topics she should cover as she writes a story about sex for AARP. What is important to talk about regarding sex for the over-50 crowd? The response was overwhelming; you all had much to say, and Susie highlights one listener's letter.

There's a Republican state legislator from South Dakota who wants to warn everyone about the dangers of anal sex. "Gay sex is not good for the mind or the body," he says. And he's looking for doctors to back him up. Ha! says Susie. Our lawmaker goes on to say that doctors are discouraged and intimated when it comes to telling the truth about anal sex. This makes Susie wonder if everyone has been intimated into silence when it comes to this issue.

Susie is off this week but wants you to enjoy a show from 2011. Today's show takes a quick look at why and how sex education has evolved in the United States. Susie reads from a Newsweek article on the subject by Johanna Cornblatt. Going back to the 1800s, we see the same worries about "evil" sex and plans to control the young, just like today's abstinence-only sex-ed. The article is full of strange and fun historical facts that warn about syphilis, prostitutes, the 1960s sexual revolution, and HIV/AIDS.

Today, Susie spends the entire show speaking with legendary porn star Howie Gordon, aka Richard Pacheco. Over his career, Howie appeared in more than 100 X-rated films and videos. Susie and Howie talk about the business of making sex movies. How is your acting affected when getting an erection becomes difficult? They talk about open marriages, first loves, and the sexual liberation of the sixties.

The Conservative Political Action Conference, known as CPAC, is attended by many staunch political types who, it turns out, are also looking for some kinky one-night stands. In a recent "Sunday Review" article in The New York Times, the headline read: "Does Porn Hurt Children?" Well, how could it not? Porn is unacceptable and must be stopped…. Hold on a minute, says Susie. First of all, Susie hates this type of headline, which is geared to rile us up. It's not a fair question, and Susie takes some time today to go over the details involved in this sensation-grabbing query. How old are the children? What specifically do you mean by "porn"? Hurt physically or mentally? Okay, let's have a serious discussion about kids and sex.

Susie hopes the Easter bunny hears her request to forgo the eggs and chocolates and instead brings her one of those new and oh-so-realistic life-size sex dolls! Isn't that what most of us would like to see in our baskets? If you haven't heard about these male dolls, Susie spills the jelly beans and tells us all about them.
