Han vaknar en morgon och allt är annorlunda. Världen ser ut som den gjorde innan, den beter sig på samma sätt. Men det är något som inte stämmer. Folk i hans omgivning verkar luckras upp och försvinna. Det är ett mysterium. Ett mysterium som han tänker gå till botten med... Detta är en märklig och kuslig bok om hur ett förstånd helt plötsligt kan börja ta död på sig själv. Men det är också en vacker, sorglig och rolig historia av en av Sveriges främsta prosaister idag.
