Jack Wilder’s a big animal vet, a wildlife wrangler, and a man with a huge heart. His passions take him through Asia, Africa, and all points in between to rescue endangered species or heal creatures who’d be happy to repay the favor with a fanged bite. His life gets an unexpected upgrade when he’s brought to Navishala, a fantasy world of mountains, high-altitude forests, and more sentient species than you can shake a sword at. It’s a world that needs someone who can wrangle dragonkin, rescue trapped pegasus foals, or save the odd cattle ranch from a monster rampage.

Jack Wilder’s life of big game wrangling in Africa got upended once chosen by the Goddess Artemis and transported to the magical world of Navishala. His life since then has been interesting, to put it mildly. He’s won the love of both a dryad maiden and the dragonkin daughter of the kobold realm. But Wilder’s also inherited a heap of trouble in rebuilding the wildlife sanctuary, regaining the trust of the locals, and dealing with a gang of murderous thugs called Jackdaws. Wilder must re-create the stash of magical potions and remedies left by the last warden.

Jack Wilder’s doing well as the warden of the first true wildlife sanctuary in Navishala. After being chosen by the Goddess Artemis, he’s beaten back those who’d derail his work and won the love of three beautiful women. Now he faces his biggest challenge yet.
