Kimberly Louise Campbell is trying her best to figure out where she fits in. Coming from a family famous for making a fortune in their estates grounds, Kimberly feels as if she should have more to offer. From questionable life choices to an epiphany that seems to set her off onto a better path, Kim continues to struggle to gain her fathers approval and maintain her sanity at the same time.

After moving to California in search of a fresh start, Kimberly is determined to keep an open mind to make the most of it. Although things start out a little rough, Kimberly soon finds her footing in a local real estate business working alongside the man that will soon become the love of her life. Together Brandon and Kimberly deal with their relationship and work together, but a problem arises when she takes him back to England to a family that does not see him as an equal. Kimberly is, therefore, left to contemplate what is most important to her.
