Rise of the Undead

Survival is just the beginning....Dylan, hotheaded and fiery, finds herself on the wrong side of the clock when she's infected with the Vita virus. After being infected by the deadly Vita virus Dylan barely survives a harrowing journey through the zombie-infested United States. Finding refuge and a cure at a US military base, she believes the worst is behind her. Little does she know her nightmare is just starting. The stakes couldn't be higher. When the undead overrun the base, Dylan and a small group of survivors are forced to take matters into their own hands. Determined to deliver Dr. Lee and her research to her headquarters in Fort Detrick, Maryland, they set off into the unknown. 

After a dangerous cross-country journey through the post-apocalyptic United States, Saul and his companions reach Fort Detrick only to find it infested by the living dead. If they are to have any hope of creating a cure they must take back the facility one bloody floor at a time.

As if living in a zombie-infested world wasn't bad enough, Dr. Tara Lee and her companions reach Fort Detrick only to discover that for some betrayal is second nature. Having thwarted Lieutenant King's attempted coup, they believe the worst is finally behind them. They couldn't be more wrong. Biding his time, Lieutenant King launches an audacious attack abducting Tara and Amy, and leaving Alex on the brink of death.

After a daring escape, Amy faces a harrowing journey through a post-apocalyptic wasteland in the dead of winter. Pursued by a sadistic killer, she barely makes it out alive. Reunited with Alex at Fort Detrick, she believes the worst is behind her. An audacious rescue attempt leads to disaster. Upon learning the whereabouts of Tara, Saul, and Dylan plan a hasty assault on King's hideout. Defying Nick's orders, they launch the attack only to run into a hail of gunfire. Defeated and demoralized, they retreat back to base forcing Nick to prepare for all-out war.

After a decisive battle, the treacherous lieutenant King is finally dead and buried. Having dealt with their most dangerous foe yet the survivors at Fort Detrick must look toward the future. Surrounded on all sides by vast, roaming hordes of zombies and predatory groups of raiders, life has become a daily struggle for survival. With only each other to rely on they have to find a way to reclaim the world from the living and the dead.
