I am writing this review before book 5 comes out. I am loving this series, I really enjoy the story, and the narrators are amazing, but please check the content warnings. I found book 4 to be particularly rough, although nothing BAD bad happens there were moments when I wasn't sure I wanted to keep listening, but it didn't cross a line for me... although it made me think it would from time to time.

I love this series, the narrators are fantastic, the story is amazing, and I love the world that we are placed in to.

That was a ride i would take again. I still don't really understand the society of this world, who is what and are there some shifters who don't have one... but that doesn't stop me from enjoying this twist filled, impossible to find a way out situation Lila lives in. I want to shout she should say this, and think gal, you said this but your body is still reacting, and more hindsight moments you know could be fixed but also know if it was you, with those feelings, issues, threats and deadly secrets around you, do you think your mind will pull these things out in time to help...nope, I would probably be in the middle screaming unhinged and crazed.
okay ramble over, facts are... This is a RH, paranormal, villains, enemies mates and souls, MF and scenes of MMF FF and more, gangs, households and more! so much more!
Man do I hate her Dad and just for being so annoying Xander, at points Scythe and Savage, even though I know their backstory is painful or must be from what they do and how they rule so no one can rule them.
damn rambling again. I'm afraid of finishing book 2 only to be stuck because this feels like it could be a 4 to 5 book series!!

oh and I even like the side characters and Henry!! love Henry!!!

This has The Bonds That Tie x Dance With My Demons vibes, (Savage very much reminds me of Grey as well) generally this is everything I love in a fated mates, why choose, series, magical world and charaters, a bit of found family, morally grey/black at times MMC's, possesive, obessive, "I want/need you ... but I don't" and an undercurrent of a bigger story to unfold, A little slow to get going but picked up by the end of the book and the full cast narration is great, on to the next book!

I was a bit disappointed after reading the beginning. It was really a bit boring. Nothing happened until the end. The whole book was a fight between the MC's and no progression at all. She wants them she hates them for hours on end.
