A bit about my writing journey, my first book, The Jade Pandora: Two Kings, One Throne. I suppose you could say it has been an epic literary quest that has taken over ten years to finally come to its natural end, and inspire yet more forward thinking on how I intend to complete the story that has been stuck in my mind for all that time. I met an author when I was around ten or eleven through school. He spent the day with us, explaining the pre-internet journey (yes, pre-internet, I said it) and helping those who spent the day with him create short stories, in an attempt to ignite our passions for writing. Well, for me it worked, I carried on writing: short stories, poetry (badly), school newspapers, all the usual kids' stuff. For years, I never felt I could take it anywhere, until one day an idea formed, and my wife was told "I am going to write a book." That's where it started. After many years of stopping and starting, it was shelved as it wasn't good enough until I met the right people who said, 'Finish it.' Thanks to them, it is. So, on 20/09/25, after extensive edits and rewrites, structural changes, and all the usual things, I finally reached the point where I published my first book. The first of the saga, now spurred on by the people who have shown me that I can write and do have a story worth telling, I am ploughing ahead with Book 2 (Name to be revealed) and the first of my novellas. (There should be room for a few)
