I write Victorian psychological thrillers where intellect is a weapon, reputation is leverage, and every polite sentence hides a blade. My debut novel, MORIARTY: The Napoleon of Crime, hit #1 in multiple Amazon categories and follows the mind behind the legend with a focus on strategy, obsession, and the quiet mechanics of power. By day, I’m the Chief Technology Officer at the City University of New York (CUNY), leading technology operations for the nation’s largest urban public university system, serving 233,000+ students across 26 campuses. That work trains the same muscles my fiction demands: systems thinking, risk, pressure, timing, and consequences. In other words, the fun parts. I studied at St. Petersburg University of Economics and Finance and earned a BBA in Computer Information Systems from Baruch College (CUNY). My background runs from hands-on systems engineering to enterprise architecture and digital transformation. Off the page, I train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (brown belt, working towards black), play competitive table tennis, study advanced chess, and write music and poetry. I’m drawn to the intersection of strategy and story, whether it’s on the mat, across the board, or inside a plot that refuses to behave. If you enjoy cerebral suspense, moral ambiguity, and villains who make uncomfortable sense, welcome.
