A. Pagliaro writes thrillers, noir fiction, and true crime. An astrophysicist and data scientist, he has published with Sironi, Laurana, Guanda, and Zolfo, and his novels have been distributed in newsstands as part of the Noir Italia series by Sole 24 Ore. His novels include: Il sangue degli altri, I cani di via Lincoln, La notte del gatto nero, Il bacio della bielorussa, Il bambino segreto, La ragazza che scomparve in primavera, Sorelle in fuga, Ti ricordi la bambina nel bosco? His true crime books include: Il giapponese cannibale, Storia terribile delle bambine di Marsala, Morirono nella notte, Pelle, Il fantasma di Heilbronn, La Forestiera. He edited the anthology Palermo criminale (Laurana, 2014) and runs the true crime series "Zolfo nero" for the publisher Zolfo.
