A few years ago, I had difficulty controlling my emotions during a heated argument with a roommate over chores and a missing loaf of bread. Our argument ultimately led to the end of our friendship, marking the beginning of many friendship losses due to a lack of emotion management. This prompted me to seek help through Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I now use this technique to manage everyday challenges and to maintain a healthy relationship with my partner.
